This movie rocked. It wasn't laugh out loud funny, but it was interesting throughout and held my attention which says a lot. I drank too much soda but wouldn't leave to go to the bathroom because I didn't want to miss anything. The video game theme was clever, and it had some depth to it. It's not just a silly, slapstick movie. I am glad I saw this.
The movie didn't start off slow. It did hold my attention until about 75% of the way through. That was the only good part. The bad parts would be that it isn't funny (I only laughed during one part but I won't give it away), and the plot wasn't very thick.
Ignore my nickname (hatedthismovie) since I picked that while rating something else.
I thought it was funny throughout the whole thing. There weren't really any slow parts so the whole thing held my attention. Of course, since Ashton's character and his friend are supposed to be stupid, the dialog isn't great but it had to be that way.
The movie is slow for quite some time. Then, it picks up, but there's absolutely no suspense. It just drifts. Then, there's an unexpected twist, but it isn't exciting, it just keeps drifting. It has it's funny moments, but is just too dull for me.
