I loved it from start to finish. . .The actors were inspiring. . .funny. . .gave it their all. . . I want to see it again and again I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. Pierce can't sing but his acting, looks and emotions make up for it he really pulled it off. The other;s were just as great. . . Meryl is awesome as usual brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart, I can't say enough about it, it is a must see for ages 13 to 120 year olds. . . the music, the dancing the script was very well done. . .GREAT MOVIE!!!

This movie will make you smile. The actors do a great job, and the movie has some hysterical moments. Even if you aren't into the whole musical movie thing, the story is good and the songs are fun. The actors obviously had a good time making it. It is especially nice for moms and daugters to see together. I am not sure most guys would like it, but it is one of the best girls' night out movies you could pick. See it and have some fun!

Afeter seeing the play twice, I was concerned that Meryl Streep was too old for the part. Boy did she nail it! Amanda Seyfried was magnificent as Sophie and Christina Baranski was fabulous (I should note that I'm a huge Christina Baranski fan). The three fathers were a little lame. I don't think any of them will be up for an academy award for their performance. I WAS dissapointed that the movie rearranged a few of the songs and dropped my favorite song of the movie - Under Attack. This movie was five stars going into the theater and it didn't dissapoint me. When does it come out on DVD? I'll buy five copies!

The story was fast and furious. It was not great singing at all. It was all about why the guys were there on the island to begin with. The scenes they show you in the previews are great but, after that it just goes downhill for me. Was hoping for more but, when you shove everything in an hour and 48 minutes what do you think they will do. The men casted for the parts where the wrong ones and so were the ladies. They should have strarted off as young Donna then went into today but, they didn't. It was just disappointing to see such great music shoved around like this!

I've seen the Broadway show 4 times so I saw Mamma Mia on opening night...it was funnier than I expected, more beautiful (scenery) than I expected...and an all star cast. The plot is excellent and I enjoyed it very much; however, for a movie adaption of a musical the downside was that the men in the cast were not good singers at all (tho very appealing men.) The ladies were all good vocalists so I would still reco it but go with expectations to enjoy the story and not for the singing and you won't be dissapointed.

I can't wait to see this movie again! It completely went above and beyond my expectations. My jaws are still completely sore from smiling and laughing so much and I saw it yesterday! Saw Opening Day..."Over The Top" and Rita Wilson knew what she was doing when she picked the cast. Great cast chemistry and great singing. Pierce had the only weak voice in my opinion but it didn't detract from the movie at all. Shocked how great Streep's singing was. It all worked and the crowd was clapping all the way through the movie and at the end credits, people were up in the aisles dancing to the final credit songs. Great Fun and a Great Date Movie (as long as your date knew and loved Abba) Can't wait to see it again and again and again and then own the DVD...Happy, Fun Movie of the Summer!!!!!

Saw this on the 18th and would have gone again today, but leaving on Disney Cruise. Maybe they will show it on the boat. I would see this movie over and over....If you have seen the musical version, you will love this movie version...is like almoust seeing the musical live.... Pierce were not that great singing, but he is a hottie, so I forgive him....Streep totally prove that can sing and beautifully... I know you'll have a good time...I could not resist dancing and singing along!!!! Enjoy the movie!

I totally loved this movie and am going to see it again next week sometime with another friend. I called her up and told her she MUST see the movie. Meryl Streep is absolutely AMAZING in this film and she has an awesome voice. Critics say she doesn't have the range but she does indeed make use of her range and the uniqueness of her voice is wonderful. Love her! All will enjoy this!

This was the best musical/comedy since "First Wives Club" . We grinned, laughed, and cheered throughout the showing. My daughter went straight to the music shop and bought the sound track CD on her way home from fromthe viewing!!
