I had made the mistake of reading a review of this movie before seeing it. I can't imagine why the reviewer didn't like it, unless they just didn't get it. The movie completely lived up to the other movies, paid homage to the great actors who've been in previous episodes and gave us a grand ride for two hours. I thought that the age of the title character was handled very well, acknowledging it while not beating it into the ground. The fx were great. It was exactly what it was supposed to be: a truly fun movie. It's not great art, but it's not supposed to be.

I was so disappointed in this movie. After growing up with the Indiana Jones series, I was intensely let down with this movie. So many scenese were rip-offs from other movies, and the concept was just ABSURD. The characters were so unbelievable, bad accents, bad acting, bad plot. Don't waste your money.

It was great to see Indiana again played by Harrison Ford. I could never imagine anyone else playing this character, one of my favorite personalities in action. As for the movie, the traps and stunts sort of reminded me of video game puzzles. It was fun.

I liked it very much, am a big Harrison Ford fan. It was everything I expected, lot of action, laughs and good story line. I took my 10 yr old granddaughter and she loved the movie because she did not get bored. the action was ongoing, no breaks. Followed the story line of the other movies, some things were said that would go over your head if you didnt see the other 3.

The government is rooting out all commi sympathizers and Dr. Jones is going to be fired from his current job by the evil FBI. This may be seen as an Interesting political statement as an entry into the drama. Takes away from the action and it's not relevant to the script. Remainder of the movie is great!

If you love Indiana Jones, this movie will not disappoint. My whole family watched the first three to get ready and everyone loved this one! Lots of action! Unbelievable (yes but they all are). I think that this is the perfect set up for Shia LeBoeuf to continue on with more!

I watched all three Indiana Jones movies to get prepared for this one, and let me tell you, it was worth it. I went with my grandma to see this movie, and i absolutly loved it to death. There were a ton a action sequences. beautiful special effects, and romance any girl would die to see. I recomend this movie to anyone who loves Indiana Jones!

very good movie, it's what you expect from this series of films. If you have never seen them before, expect some cheese and scenes that look too much like a movie set. Harrision Ford plays the role as it should be though and it won't disappoint the middle aged viewer who grew up watching these.

Indy- where have you been? Trying to come up with a good story? I gave Crystal Skull 4 stars just because it IS entertaining. But what could have been... The rumor persists that another Indiana Jones script favored by Spielberg and/or Ford was ready years ago, but Lucas didn't like it. Would have liked to have seen that one. THIS movie almost seems like a re-union of the cast of an old series... without the rest of the cast! Until Karen Allen, of course. Nice that they gave a salute to Denholm Elliott (Marcus.) Harrison Ford seemed tired. And there was no mystery about who Mutt really was. Plus, I still haven't figured out what the Russians were after... and who or what we encountered at the end. It's a fun movie but not a great movie. Can't wait for "Indiana Jones 4" in 2028.

We really loved the escapades of an older Indiana Jones. The timeframe in the 1950's around aliens and the atomic bomb was clever. If one is expectly uproarious jokes, a viewer won't find that, but the subtle jokes and gags are funny! We did enjoy this! Worth seeing. Who would want to see Indiana Jones too old for an adventure?!

Loved it? Yes! How could I not? Indy is my choice for the greatest movie Character Hero of all time. 4 stars, naturally! but could it earn the 5th? I just could not give the last twinkle away. Too too too too too too many dodged bullets and Falling rocks, horrific drops off raging waterfalls, etc, without a scratch. When the flying saucer takes off and pieces of the mountain, pyramid, Kitchen sink, and any other multi-ton object in the area is spinning uncontrolably, Indy and the crew stand within feet of quick death like they are just standing on the beach enjoying the scenery. Even for an Indiana Jones movie, this stretches my suspention of disbelief to the equivelent of the fabric of "space-time" around a massive black hole. But Hey! They couldn't survive that could they? I'm just glad this episode did not take place in deep space. The odd numbered movie episodes are my 2 favorites, but I still enjoyed this one a lot.

It's still pure fiction. Could it happen--NO! Is it fun to watch all that couldn't be--YES! The son seems to have aged quickly. He had to be 20 and I don't think there were that many years indicated between this movie and the last one. Indy is o.k.--he married the mother just as soon as he knew he was the father!!

I absolutely loved this movie. I thought it was equal to if not actually better than the lst Indiana Jones movie. I also think they are leaving the option open on this one to do others with the Son as the NEW Indiana Jones. It was an action packed keep you on the edge of your seat movie. I loved the Ant Hill portion and the waterfalls. Overall I just can say enough about how much my husband, whom I took as part of his father's day gift, loved this one.

Aged or not, Harrison Ford is still unrivaled as king of the archaeology-as-adventure-movie hill. But that's not what was remarkable about this movie experience. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the price of a movie has been gone up from $8.00 to $8.00 plus 30 minutes of inane V-Cast advertisements and ABC-TV teasers? And that's AFTER the embarrassing local ads (which are easy to ignore) and BEFORE the first preview. The big-screen experience isn't THAT much better than my home system that I won't wait for the DVD so I don't have to be subjected to that nonsense. Theatre owners: beware! The short-term financial goose of advertising can very easily be offset when people stay home where TIVO and mute buttons keep Madison Avenue at bay.

After many years of waiting, the "Indie" we have come to know and love is back with a resounding " crack of a whip". Harrison Ford IS Indiana Jones! He is as athletic and debonair as the day he walked off the last Indiana film. Along with a surprisingly Russian Cate Blanchett, returning actress Karen Allen, Ray Winstone, John Hurt, and up an coming star Shia LaBeouf, "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" does not disappoint. As in all of the films, action is around every corner, and Lucas/Spielberg/ Marshall/ &Koepp remind us that C.G. is not always needed to create those memorable scenes we associate with a great "Indiana Jones" film. New movie watchers will be delighted to finally see a film on the "big screen" that's been a favorite series in homes for over two decades. Ending comments: There is a scene (my favorite) in which Indiana (Harrison Ford) is looking at a picture of his father and remembering a time that once was in "his life". Although at the beginning of the film, it was a picture of the words I was trying to find to describe the feeling I knew I would have after seeing a much anticipated movie. To say that one has been completely satisfied by a film that was long over due is to say that visiting the house you grew up feels the same as when you left. Those memories will always bring a certain joy of a time that once was, however, "you can never go home".

I really enjoyed this movie and placed it up there with Lost Crusade. I loved the action scenes and the relationship between Indy and his son (both before and after the reveal). I thought Karen Allen was much better in Raiders and thought Cate Blanchett was excellent. I apparently am easy to please as my boyfriend found it formulaic and predictable and put it dead last behind Temple of Doom (which I personally can't stand).

OK for die-hard fans, myself included, but not a great brand extension. Not as good as #1 or #3, and on a par with #2. I didn't mind Indy aging - we all do - but I didn't think Marion was used very well. Mutt is OK but has yet to prove himself in the wry wit department. Oh, and you don't have to stand in the general line if you go to customer service for pre-paid tix.

I'm easy to please with movies, usually, so I loved this re-make. So did my sister and 5 nieces and nephews. I don't care that Harrison is old - we all age. I liked the interesting story and the fun action.

ok so it wasnt the Temple of Doom or The Last Crusade, but it was fun! Were some parts unbelievable, yes. It was a good movie where the co-stars made this one fun and not just center one Indiana doing everything! Definitely worth the $9. per person for 2 hours.
