thoroughly enjoyed this movie

I loved the first Sherlock Holmes and definitely enjoyed A Game of Shadows. Even felt it was a touch better than the first one. We finally get to see the beginning of the arch rivalry between Holmes and Moriarty, and the relationship between Holmes and Watson was still deliciously dysfunctional. I loved the cinematography, CGI, and the stop-motion action. I will admit the storyline was a bit convulted so I will definitely rewatch this on DVD, but I would highly recommend seeing this movie first in the theater.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Better Than Expected

Rewatched the 1st Tron before going to Tron Legacy as a refresher. Tron Legacy was definitely better than we expected and we felt, in some ways, better than the original. We thought the CGI of a young Jeff Bridges was about as good as you could get (when you remember that CLU is supposed to be a digital representation of his user). We were a bit disappointed that you don't see much of the young Bruce Boxleitner, who of course was the original TRON, but overall this movie is a must see if you enjoyed the original or are a fan of the genre.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I really enjoyed this movie and placed it up there with Lost Crusade. I loved the action scenes and the relationship between Indy and his son (both before and after the reveal). I thought Karen Allen was much better in Raiders and thought Cate Blanchett was excellent. I apparently am easy to please as my boyfriend found it formulaic and predictable and put it dead last behind Temple of Doom (which I personally can't stand).
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Horton Hears a Who

I was a bit disappointed with the movie. I loved the original story and animated feature and was hoping this would just be icing on the cake, but it did drag in some places. I about fell asleep on a couple of occasions. However, when it did pick up my boyfriend and I found ourselves laughing out loud, but in places no one else in the theater thought was funny. We were either too old or the audience too young.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
