I had made the mistake of reading a review of this movie before seeing it. I can't imagine why the reviewer didn't like it, unless they just didn't get it. The movie completely lived up to the other movies, paid homage to the great actors who've been in previous episodes and gave us a grand ride for two hours. I thought that the age of the title character was handled very well, acknowledging it while not beating it into the ground. The fx were great. It was exactly what it was supposed to be: a truly fun movie. It's not great art, but it's not supposed to be.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
