Indy- where have you been? Trying to come up with a good story? I gave Crystal Skull 4 stars just because it IS entertaining. But what could have been... The rumor persists that another Indiana Jones script favored by Spielberg and/or Ford was ready years ago, but Lucas didn't like it. Would have liked to have seen that one. THIS movie almost seems like a re-union of the cast of an old series... without the rest of the cast! Until Karen Allen, of course. Nice that they gave a salute to Denholm Elliott (Marcus.) Harrison Ford seemed tired. And there was no mystery about who Mutt really was. Plus, I still haven't figured out what the Russians were after... and who or what we encountered at the end. It's a fun movie but not a great movie.
Can't wait for "Indiana Jones 4" in 2028.
