This movie was very entertaining. The audience's attention was focused throughout the entire film with lots of action. Lots of unique puzzles to figure out. I missed the more humorous comments made by Harrison Ford in the previous "Indiana Jones" movies. When Indie's son showed up, the plot was rather predictable. I guess there is more room for sequels again with a younger Jones!

I throughly enjoyed this movie. I particularly liked the fact that they didn't try to make Indy look like he was still a young man. There was plenty of action, the plot was like all adventure films, somewhat unbelievable, but that is what I enjoy about these movies. And it was so hard to believe that Karen Allen hadn't aged at all in the 20+ years since she was last seen in an Indiana Jones movie.

Overall, this is a good movie. I feel it strayed a little too much from what I consider to be the "real" Indy genre. However, the stunts were good, the acting was good, and I loved seeing Harrison Ford in action again.

The other Indiana Jones movies were supposed to be old 30's serials, but this didn't completly feel like one. The acting was fine, but the Sci-fi plot didn't really flow with the serial style. Direction was dissapointing at times, but overall good. Old-age Indiana was done well though.

For an Indiana Jones fan that expects alot, this was abit disappointing; some of the stunts went beyond credibility to "magical". The relationship between Indiana and Karen Allen seemed contrived. However, the early movie chase scene taking place in the Ivory Towers and walls of Yale was great!

Great movie. I was a little skeptical going into the theater with Harrison Ford being much older. However, the film was written well to accomodate and make humor out of his age. Ford looks great and gives a classic performance of what we expect to see from Indiana Jones. What I liked about the story is that it is definitely different from the other films, but still maintained the common elements that make it so much fun. A must see!

I have been and still am a fan of the series but I won't add this one to my collection. The story was okay but didn't hang together as well as the previous ones. It seemed that there was an effort to find BIG special effects events that overwhelmed and distracted from a solid telling of the story. The actors seemed to have effected by this distraction from story to special events. This has got to be one of the weakest performances by Harrison Ford that I have ever seen. He seemed to be going through the motions rather than be Indiana Jones. Ultimately, it was this uninterested acting, poor story telling and distraction by special effects that caused the movie to fall flat for me. I couldn't recommend paying stiff theater prices to see it. Wait till it comes out on DVD if you must see it.

Painful to watch. I am glad I went to a matinee. Storyline is very weak and full of so many holes they can't be overlooked. Shia's performance is credible and shows his further growth as an actor. I see greater roles for him in the future. The humor was non-existent as the jokes were just flat and predictable. The trailer to the Mummy 3 was more exciting than anything in this movie. It's not that Indiana Jones is a bad character, I love him, but this movie falls well short of it's predecessor's. Save your time and money and wait for the inevitable Indiana Jones Collector's set with remastered audio and digital video and alternate endings!

I loved the three previous Indy flicks and this one did not disappoint! I was little thrown by the Sci-Fi aspect...that was a little too out there for me. But overall we enjoyed the movie immensely! Lots of action, lots of great Indy quips, and even a Han Solo reference ("I have a bad feeling about this!" lol). It was very entertaining and definitely worth the time and money!

This feels like a ripoff of the the Indy franchise. The first half hour feels pointless and features some painful acting. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! Mind you, we are in our late fifties, so we were tuned in to the cultural references of the 50's era, the Area 51 thing, and we have seen all three of the Indiana Jones movies multiple times. You could compare the movie to a class reunion--it doesn't necessarily stand on it's own as a great time, unless you are part of the class. Sure, it was over the top in many ways, and certainly unbelievable, but so much fun!

Every nickle you spend is on the screen ... very entertaining. It will help tremendously if you review or watch the other Indy Jones movies ... lots of references that fly under the radar screen .... very amusing when you catch them. The acting is REALLY good for an action/adventure movie and never crosses the "Camp" line which would be very easy to do here. Kate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf are great. Harrison Ford is solid. Great British character roles. Kate is a star but Shia will be a big star very soon!

"Raiders of the Lost Ark" came out when I was in elementary school. Now, in my late 30s, I appreciate that the theme of this latest movie is, to paraphrase John Lennon, "grow older with me." The wisdom of this story is that, far from being a timeless adventurer, Indiana Jones *is* older and *has* to adjust to changing times, as we all do. By choosing to make this the central theme, Lucas and Spielberg succeed in bringing Jones' story full circle and to a satisfying conclusion.

Although not as a big a fan of the Indy series as I am Star Wars, Crystal Skull never fails to deliver where the SW prequels left me disappointed. The new Indy movie captures, from the first minute, the fast-paced action that the first 3 taught us to love. Harrison Ford is as good as ever the movie kept a great pace. Most viewers had too high of expictation, there is no way they could recreat Raiders or any of the other films. Too much time had paset inbetween movies, and i thought that they mixed that very well into the movie. As far as some of the corny stunts and or lines. If you disect the original movies they have some of the same things. Like in raiders when the guys head exploded or melted off. And in Temple of Doom they guy survies when his heart is ripped out of his chest. I think that the hard core fans are just use to seeing that stuff and accepted it, where this is new and different. You have to go see it a second or third time to get over the anishal shock factor, to really start to enjoy the movie. I recoment that every one see it a few more times before they sing off on the movie beeing bad.

I was a little disappointed at this looong awaited sequel, but to see Harrison reprise this role was a dream come true. Some of the effects at the beginning were obviously CGI, but I did expect that some would be. The story was a little patchy here & there, but for entertainment value, was ok. I will go to see it again in a couple of weeks, just b/c I had a guy explaining the ENTIRE movie to his girlfriend sitting right next to me.

This is a good movie. there is action and comedy and a great cast. It is enjoyable and I would recomend it, but when you compare it to the first three movies it falls short. It lacks the magic and epic feel of the originals. It is not very memorable and does not have the classic moments. I am not real happy with where they go with the characters and do not see the Shia LaBeouf character as a good canidate to pass the torch to. LaBeouf is good but the character, though he has the adittude and adventurer aspect, lacks the knowledge of an Indiana.

I love the Indiana Jones movies, but this one just does not quite fit. The movie itself was average, but there were some great stunts. It was a little disappointing all in all, as it is just not as good as the others.

As good as always, Indiana Jones was my hero as he used to be. It doesn't matter how many stories have came out, they're always original. This a very exciting movie that keeps you at the edge of your recliner. Excellent effects. Worth the 2 hrs.

George lucas... please stop ruining all my favorite childhood movies. Indiana Jones didn't need poorly done computer graphic ground hogs in the first scene any more then star wars needed jar jar binks.. They look like awful cartoon characters from Over the Hedge. And then later, blatant product placement logos on the Harley Davidson made the whole movie so cheap. The plot and story are full of huge holes that even the most exciting actions scenes can't excuse. I watched it all out of respect for indiana, but it was boring a lot of the movie and that is not what indiana should be!
Cant' make sense of this one, even then next day. Slow paced and very convoluted.

Although I like the franchise I was disappointed in this installment. The movie never made you believe what was happening. It seemed that the story was written around the stunts. This caused the story not to flow in my opinion. I would save this one for video.
