The movie was like going back to the last time even though Indy is now older and wiser. Having reached a place where he is comfortable with himself and yet willing to jump back into the fray for a good cause, Indy let's us all enjoy the ride one more time. Fun flick, worth the money and the time.

From the opening scene to the ending credits, the movie comes off horribly forced and full of itself. From every shot to every pathetic one-liner that hints closer to National Treasure than any Indy film, the film lacked everything the made the first one great: chemistry and heart. Many people, including myself were looking forward to not just another entertaining adventure but to seeing Harrison Ford reprise his role of Indy. He did the best he could with what he was given, but when every other character have more in depth story lines than the title character (Shia has never acted this poorly, although it was more an impersonation, see Brando in the Wild Ones) it is difficult do much more than he did, even having been Indy for so long.

No, it wasn't up to par with Raiders of the Lost Ark or Temple of Doom. But it was a ton of fun, and was great to see Indy back on the big screen again. And I have to admit, some of it was just nostalgia, taking my own kids now to see an Indiana Jones movie.

I am not a tech critic like my husband, but I thought it was pretty "Indiana Jones-ish". Had the constant action, yeah some kinda unbelievable, but you know that going in with Harrison being older now. I think it is a movie to see at the theater and not wait for DVD.

We were really looking forward to the last Indiana Jones film. The cast line up was great and we were looking forward to the new story line. You can't imagine our disappointment then with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. What happened? Numerous scenes were very obviously sets....the lighting was terrible, and it gave the effect of being a cheap B movie production. The skull? It looked like an acrylic mold filled with crumpled cellophane. It was hard to believe this was a Lucas/Spielberg production. We enjoyed seeing Ford reprise his best known role although several times he seemed a bit half-hearted in delivering his lines. Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf played their roles well. The plot? Indiana Jones meets Sci-Fi, and it doesn't go well. It's not believable, very poorly thought through and unnecessarily gimmicky. We had to see it in theaters as it is the last of the films. Unfortunately, it left us very disillusioned. It's quite the disappointing end for one of our favorite movie characters.

As expected, this is a fun movie. Don't put too much stock in the initial reviews. Of course, the first "Indie" was the best, but this one rivals the second. It's worth watching on the big screen because of the special effects and surround sound, but otherwise I would classify this as a "renter." It's my least favorite of the Indy movies. I kept waiting for that special "Indiana Jones movie experience" to kick in, and it just never did. There are a couple of great chase scenes, as you would expect. Harrison Ford is as impressive as ever, but there wasn't much for him to sink his teeth into. Shia LeBeouf's "Mutt" could have use some more character development, and seemed a bit wimpy to be Indy's son. Karen Allen's "Marion" looked tired and puffy, and they should have done something about her wiry hair and dowdy outfit. Cate Blanchett's "Irina Spalko" is delicious, but I wanted to see more of her. In conclusion, there were a lot of great elements and characters, but it all just didn't come together as nicely as one would expect from an Indiana Jones movie.

I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan but this left me flat. Missing was the wonderful banter between Indy and his firends and enemies. Way too many specific effects most of which were copies of many others scenes from other movies. There were certainly some entertaining moments but I left wondering if I had just seen Star Wars or Indiana Jones!

This was a good action flick but I still believe it paled in comparision to the first 3. I think that Shia LaBeouf added a nice touch to the film but the dialogue was a little weak. I did enjoy how they tied up loose ends and incorporated characters and subjects from previous films into this one! I recommend going to see it of course b/c it's Harrison Ford!

My family and I loved the movie. We were not disapointed. Loved the action, great stunts, great story and some funny parts. If taking children you will want to cover eyes for the Ant scene. Hope they make another if you are an Indiana Jones fan you will not be disapointed.

Indiana Jones is like pizza: even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. Cate Blanchett had a hard time maintaining her ukranian accent, which came and went in scense, shia lebeouf was actually very good. If you're a fan of the series like me, you'll want to see it anyway. It's not horrible, but it's definitely not the same. Seeing the characters again is fun, the story is mildly entertaining, but the big glaring negative about the movie is that it doesn't capture the spirit of the other 3. The Indy/Marion romance rekindling was painful and awkward. I wanted to really like the movie, it just left me wanting to see the original again. If you don't expect too much it is at least entertaining enough to justify the matinée admission price.

As happy as I was to see Indy on another adventure, the "crystal skull" storyline was too other wordly for me. I tried to avoid watching previews because I've found them to give away too much of the story in years past. I might as well have watched them as some of the plot involving the last 20 years was pretty predictable. The movie does subtly reference some events in the older films, but in an intelligent way. Stay ouf refrigerators. They are death traps.

If you loved the Indiana Jones series, and have been hoping for another movie, then you will enjoy this one. The storyline is a little far-fetched, but the movie is definitely fun. It is great to see Indy back in his hat and taking on a new adventure.

This movie was fun for me...it was 2 hours that I never thought of my real life at all !! I had complete suspension of disbelief. Granted it was not a very cerebral movie but the action was great. Shia looked so amazing in his Marlon Brando'esc scene...I thought the relationship storyline with Karen Allen was sweet and I absolutely loved Cate Blanchett. It was a toss up between her and Harrison about who was the "star" of the movie.
Go, have fun, get some popcorn and a soda and enjoy...afterall, isn't that what movies are about !!!

Just what I expected but long overdue. I would've been nice to see a younger Indy (Harrison) do this movie and the stunts. For Indy fans there's the right amount of action, fun and re-written history to make an adventure. Suspend belief, don't look for character build up (you know all about the characters anyway) and enjoy the ride.

The special effects are awesome but the plot is hard to swallow. I enjoyed it more than the Temple of Doom, but not as much as the others. I like this style of adventure film and hope they continue them with Henry Jones III

I'm not an Indiana Jones fan but this movie was pretty cool. I have to admit that I was bored and sorry that I bought the ticket the first 30 minutes into the film, but as the story progressed I was totally into it. It made me laugh a few times and had a lot of unbelievable action but was fun and entertaining to watch. Harrison Ford still has it. I had a great time.
