Fun movie with neat effects that are enjoyable for most of the family. I smiled a lot and I could hardly believe my eyes, I was watching a movie with a happy ending for a change. Lucas & Spielberg do it again! I think the Crystal Skulls legend was a great one to use. Especially with the 2012 ending of the Mayan calendar cycle. It was fitting. Also the play on the E.T. connection. After the Roswell incident the UFO crazy launched in to full swing. Fun movie and perhaps we may see more of the Jones boys in the future.

The question is why do I go a theatre, my answer is to escape and to be entertained.
Thiis movie did just that it took me back to a peroid when the issues mentioned within it's plot line was down right "Serious stuff."
Now I will tell you that for me, it raised questions in my mind as to when did Indy start working (SPYING) for the goverment. To me it open up all kinds of movie plots seperate from the Indiana Jones movies we are used to viewing. But, that is another plot line al ltogeather
As stated this movie delivered all that a sequels is supposed to do, 1. Get you in the seat, 2. Deliver on a good believable plot line, and finally 3. Entertain you.
In that regard I give this movie my highest rating, that is to take my family to see it, which I already did!!!!

We entered the theater prepared to love it & weren't disappointed ! We also were thrilled to see Karen Allen back - & since our son just got married,thought that theme was appropriate in an inside-joke kind of way. I did feel that with the aliens they sort-of took a page from Stargate, &another page in the style of the ending from National Treasure - but then Indiana was the blueprint for both of those to build on, so - it's all okay. Our son disagrees w/ us that this one left it all open for another Indiana Jones movie to follow, so ...we'll see! We hope SO !

If you are looking for a movie with no goofy unrealistic scenes, this is not the movie for you. But if you are looking for an Indiana Jones, make you laugh, totally unrealistic movie than you will really enjoy it. Harrison Ford as always is great. I was very impressed how he just seems to fall back into the character. Great turns and twists thoughout the 2 hrs. The ending for me was a little goofy but then again it's a Indiana movie.........good time

me and my mom were coughing at every scene where we laughed and applauded.
after indy, we have been VERY sick and just maybe, for me, this might have been my last movie ever seen.
but it was worth it, four stars.

Even though I am almost at the Harrison Ford, Karen Allen age myself, I was not thrilled to see these withering faces blown up a bizzillion times on the wide screen... HOWEVER, the action was great, the smoother faces lovely, Cate Blanchett and the young man from Disney. and my generation won the day with their cheeky jabs and come-backs. They aquitted themselves heroically in the non stop action, and thank god for stunt doubles, looked better at the end of the movie than they did at the beginning! All in all a great romp which even my teenage children loved. One of them had never seen the originals and STILL loved it!

To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to seeing this movie since I'm not into action flicks. To my surprise, I really liked it. There wasn't the gore that I expected and it was non stop suspense. Loved all the special effects. I'm really glad that I went. I was afraid that since it had been so many years since I'd seen the others I wouldn't be able to follow along. It helps knowing some of the history to get the jokes, but all in all, it was definitely worth my time and money.

I was curious and a little fearful to see this movie. I was scared that it could not live up to the first ones. I shouldn't have worried. Speilberg didn't disappoint! I thought the "crystal" skull was a little fake looking but it didn't ruin the whole thing for me! I was very entertained! I was worried about how Harrison Ford could hold up to such a rigorus movie but he did not disappoint either. It was very good to see Karen Allen again and Shia Lebouf was an excellent choice for Indie's son! I think he'll be as big as or bigger than Harrison!!

I have to agree that the women chosen for thismovie were great. However, the plot was stretch. The ending started to go into conspiracy theories and made the ending less than spectacular in my opinion. This was definitely better than the second, but the "Last Crusade" was the best movie of the series. Still fun though.

This was a great movie. I enjoyed all the little extras for Indy fans. I knew this was going to be as good as the first and made in the same way as the other 3 when they panned past the Ark in the Area 51 warehouse in the first 15 minutes. Must see if you enjoyed the previous Indy movies. Those who have never seen any of the other movies may not enjoy it as much as the fans.

I didn't know what to expect going in to see it. I thought that Harrison Ford did a great job being 65 and all. Some of the scenes you can tell are CGI. Yes, the scenes with the fridge in a nuclear blast and going over the waterfalls are not possible. But throughout the other 3 Indy movies, there have been scenes that didn't seem possible but we like it for the entertainment. I didn't realize that there really are crystal skulls and its not just something that was made up for the movie. So there is an historical aspect to the plot. And for the aliens, well that may not be as sci-fi as some may think. How else can you explain Easter Island and Stonehenge? Cate Blanchett did a good job as the villainness. It was good to see Karen Allen back and I thought Shia did a really good job. Will he take the hat and keep the franchise going with Indy as a sidekick? We'll see.

My husband, children and I went to see this movie and it was great. I think it is age-appropriately rated. There are some parts that are scary for children and the easily scared, but other than that we thought it was great! We loved all the action and intensity!! I would definetely recommend this movie to others.

It was very hokey, unbelievable in most every way, and was, at times, difficult to sit through. Still, I liked Harrison Ford and found my belief that he could physically do what he did as a 65 year old the least of the film's overall problems.

This was a great movie. It was definitely a good addition to the Jones collection. I would have liked to see more action on Ford's part, but other than that it was superb. I would definitely reccommend this one to others.

i totally enjoyed it. i saw it twice and both times was a heck of a lot of fun. there are certainly over the top bits in here, but i think it fits in well with the time era they were trying to capture. the maguffin fits in perfectly with the rest of the series when you take a step back and think about it. its a shame that a lot of people don't seem to get what they were going for in this installment, because once you allow yourself to just enjoy it, indy4 has a lot to offer.
