The special effects of the movie were superb. All of the rumors that this was a movie to bash the Catholic Church were put to rest (I am Catholic). I felt they protrayed the Church as a human institution that has its flaws and also has its own rituals that are not understood due to the secrecy. The movie is supenseful. It does deviate from the book somewhat, but nothing that I felt was enough to make me upset.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have to agree that the women chosen for thismovie were great. However, the plot was stretch. The ending started to go into conspiracy theories and made the ending less than spectacular in my opinion. This was definitely better than the second, but the "Last Crusade" was the best movie of the series. Still fun though.
