The Dark Night was so awesome. There was never a dull moment! Heath Ledger did such a great job, he really will be missed. The only thing I would like to see different in the next one is more of Christian Bale with his shirt off :) I really missed that one this time.

When an action movie is rated this good, I have to see it. Heath Ledger was great, but the movie had weak romantic moments. Special effects were great, but at times the plot would stumble. Batman mumbled too much and was hard to understand. I measure action films against Bourne Ultimatum. So far, nothing has come close. Maybe the new upcoming James Bond movie will come closer??

Absolutely astonishing movie. I was so hyped to see this movie... and I can for sure say that it lived up to all the hype around it. I loved everything about this movie. And, simply put, the Joker (Heath Ledger)... we couldn't have asked for a better one! And I don't think anyone else could have done this movie any better justice. It truly is sad, however, to know that this would be the last movie he'd ever create! 2 thumbs up, for sure though. :)

The action is good, the late Heath Ledger's Joker excellent, but what makes this an outstanding movie is its focus on what happens when good men are arrogant enough to try for greatness in the face of evil. Wayne, Gordon, and Dent learn this lesson under the Joker's tutelage--and it is an excruciating school for them all.

Who is Heath Ledger?? His name was in the credits, but i didn't see him in the movie.. I only saw the Joker. This movie hits the ground running and doens't let up. It even ends well, to me. Don't want to spoil the movie for anyone, but I will say this... Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this Epic.. Whether Heath died or not, his peformance is something you don't want to miss. Everyone else in the movie was great. Bale pulled Batman/Bruce off nicely. Without the Joker, "Dark Knight" would have still been a great flick. But Ledger brought so much more. Sadly, he won't be able to reprise the role..

I am not a batman fan, but my teenage son wanted to see this movie. I did not regret it at all. It was more of a psycho-thriller action packed movie with good acting. Heath Ledger was unbelievable, what a shame that he has passed, but this performance will live on forever and he will be remembered for the excellent work he did in this picture. He played the joker mad-man with such a wicked coldness, yet remained true to the psychopath that he was where you almost liked him. He was truly mesmerizing. The special effects were mind boggling and were well displayed. I would recommend this movie, in fact my husband now wants to see it now that he knows that I have nothing but praises for this picture. Excellent work from the director, actors and all involved. Worth the money and the time, and it is worth seeing on the big screen. *****

The all around performance of all the cast members was phenomenal. The plot line was very unpredictable. The joker character played by Heath Ledger was an unforgettable performance. Truly one of the best movies I have seen in years.

Good up until the last 30 minutes, where it became a little slow. Gave some much needed factual info to set up a sequel, but nothing really unexpected. I would definitely recommend it, though, or even watch it again myself.

The Dark Knight was a very enjoyable 21/2 hours. From the very beginning it grabs your attention, and doesn't let go till the end. Heath Ledger is totally amazing as the Joker. Definitely, an Academy Award performace. All the other actors were very entertaining, and I look forward to buying the video when it is released. It's the best Batman movie so far in my opinion. Most certainly, a movie worth the admission, and time spent.

All I can say is "WOW!!!" a Summer film that actually lived up to ALL of its hype and then some! Understanding that some of that was due to Heath's unfortunate passing, this film still carries on this new take (and I feel much BETTER take) on the Joker with such amazing abandon that I found myself wanting to forget Mr. Nicholson's Joker (no offense, Jack. Yours was great, Heath's was SUPERB). And the whole world of Gotham echoes the dark tones of the comic SO much more. This was a crime saga, a detective story, not a superhero film. And the film benefits from going that direction. All characters involved get to shine tremendously, accept maybe for Rachel Dawes, who gets quite overshadowed by the company she's in. That notwithstanding, great acting on everyone's part, a sweeping epic that has re-defined this whole franchise and taken it to another level. Let the film speak for itself!! When's the NEXT one!! A MUST SEE this Summer!!

The Dark Knight is the most intense movie of the summer! Heath Ledger's Joker controlls the movie from begininng to end, I haven't seen a villian control the screen like that since Hannibal Lector in Silence of The Lamb. Bale is excellent and is the best Bruce Wayne Batman out of all the Movies. Everyone brings their A-game to this great movie. It does not feel like a comic book movie, more of a grand epic crime movie that push you to the edge of your seat.

This movie was amazing! The special effects, the storyline, the acting, and the darkness. Heath Ledger was Oscar Material! It's too bad that Heath Ledger is gone. He would have made many more movies for us all to enjoy. This movie is highly recommended for ages 13 and up. Younger children may be afraid of some of the scenes. Honeslty this is the best movie I've seen in years!!! Heath Ledger is nothing short of amazing, I've already seen it twice and would easily go see it in theatres again. Christian Bale and William Cain also did an awesome job. Maggie Gyllenhael was a total upgrade from Katie Holmes. This is a great movie for any kinda of occasion, a date, seeing it with friends, or going with your parents and or kids. I HIGHLY reccomend seeing this
