If you were impressed by Batman Begins and the Dark Knight, then hopefully you will enjoy TDKR. I didn't. 3 new characters are introduced but only one was captivating. Fell asleep multiple times during the villain scenes and forced myself to rewatch the movie another day to see if it would be more tolerable. it wasn't. The effects and most of the acting were there, but the story wasn't worthy to be in the franchise.

Excellent story line, wrapping it around the central characters is brilliant move. In the first franchise, staring Michael Keaton, we lost something in the change of the actors, the addition of all the villians and simply turned Batman into a circus comic book. In the new franchise staring Christian Bale we see continuity, fortitude on behalf of the production and a plausible story line created to do exactly what movies are for; escape and reaching out to people.
Great movie, I will own the franchise in my personal DVD collection.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

Who can not LOVE Christian Bale?!?! What a hottie and with great acting skills!!! Full of action and comedy!!!! Got to get the Blu-Ray when it comes out.

I loved this movie more than Iron Man. It deserved all it's hype. Heath Ledger is outstanding as The Joker. Director Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors of the decade. Go see The Dark Knight. Go to you local video stor and rent or buy it.

Continuing my retro rants. In all fairness I will not review a movie I havnt actually seen. I cant say anything more about this film other than Bale needs to really cut out the groany voice. ITS DISTRACTING!!!

I purchase this movie and was not able to watch it all the way through. So I would say, as far as drawing me in. It did not do that for me. I think once I watch it, I may change my views. We will see???

So....I'm finally getting around to reviewing this movie! First off, while Heath Ledger is GOOD as The Joker, he isn't THAT fantastic! Every single person I spoke to before I saw this film raved about him - and about the film, in general - but frankly, I think that Aaron Eckhart is just as good as, if not better than Ledger is in his roll.....Also, the plot is extremely confusing, and Maggie Gyllenhaal is LAME! (Then again, so is Katie Holmes in "Batman Begins.") And Batman, himself, is hardly even in this film!...."Batman Begins" is SO much better!!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
