This movie was great! It has a mini beginning story line for the Incredible Hulk so you don't have to know anything about the past. CG is good and emotional storylines were developed well. Very little "blood", but lots of fighting and gun violence (FYI for those with little kids - I'd say at least for ages 8+) Marvel is connecting it's movies with references to Stark Interprises and flow of both Iron Man and Hulk are heading for a SHIELD movie with references to such at the end of this movie BEFORE the credits (nothing after credits like in Iron Man :-).

First, I went to this movie to see the Tony Stark cameo. Second, this movie is much better than the first one, but that's not hard to do since the first one was so bad. Third, this movie tries too hard. It's a bit sappy love story, and a bit action film. It largely succeeds in the action film department, but the love story bit is forced. Fourth it is LOUD. My ears are still ringing after fifteen hours. I don't know whether it was my particular theatre (I don't think so) or whether it was the movie itself, but when my seat was literally shaking and the movie was still too loud with my fingers in my ears, that's a problem. It largely detracted from the experience. Fifth, it's a good movie. It's not great, mind you - it's exactly what you'd expect from a summer action-flick. It's a little over the top with the action and the CGI, but it is a comic book movie, and that level provides for the comic book feel, which is a credit to the filmmakers. It's got the tag-lines that The Hulk is famous for, and a cool cameo that isn't Stan Lee or Robert Downey Jr. I'd give it three and a half stars if I could, but not four.

It was Incredible from the opening credits, which dismissed the first movie and took the story more from the show and the comic combined. The Character development was superb. The Acting was not cheesy or over the top. You care for these characters,which makes for a great film. Great homage to the tv series by showing Bill Bixby on the tv , using the theme from the show a couple times and even Lou Ferigno shows up as a secuity guard. This movie blows Ang Lee's version away. The action was intense, fast and violent. Great score by Craig Armstrong and amazing special effects. I cant wait to see it again. Nice cameo by Tony Stark as well. Go see it ASAP!!!

Not as good as the first Hulk, but entertaining. Ed Norton is great, but other acting in the movie is ho-hum. Story-wise, it was "ok". A little too much of the old "really good vs really bad" cliches - the characters were too one dimensional. And the CGI battles at the end - boring.

Marvel taking the driver seat of their comics being brought to life is the best idea they've ever had. Ed Norton wears two hats on this film as cowriter and Bruce Banner. Having shown us his awesome skills playing split personalities in films like Primal Fear and Fight Club, he did a spectacular job playing the mild mannered doctor concealing a raging beast. Tim Roth was a wonderful villain, as always! You hated William Hurt, and you felt for Liv Tyler. The story was cleverly updated from the 1962 original. The action sequences were amazing. You don't want to look away for a second. While the Hulk and Abomination are still slightly cartoony, one can only ask for so much from modern technology! Fun cameos by Stan Lee and the original Mr. Green, Lou Ferrigno. Can't wait to see if the Iron Man, Hulk, and Wolverine movies are going where I think they are!

It was very suprising that Edward Norton's superior acting skills could not save this movie from mediocrity. The actors were good, the computer generated Hulk was fantastic, but the movie in general was definately missing something. I did love the references to the TV show and comics, but a bit more heart and a lot more brains would have made a big difference in this movie. Keep your expectations low.

Some people may be getting tired of the "comic book movie" trend, but I say as long as they continue to be as good as Iron Man and now The Hulk, keep 'em coming. The acting is great by everyone and the CGI is AMAZING. I'm very hard to please when it comes to CGI, but this movie has some of the best I've ever seen. This is pure summer movie entertainment. You owe it to yourself to relax for two hours and go see this fun and exciting flick.

The Critics are duping u!!!!!!!!!!! I think that is part of the marketing. Its reverse psychology. This movie is full of action and emotion. Edward Norton does such a better job than Eric Bana. I grew up a Hulk fan, and sort of lost interest as I got older. I was pumped about the first movie, and then very dissapointed with what I saw. This one however was outstanding. The action was great, the CGI was excellent, and probably the biggest improvement was the acting. Edward Norton made the movie worth watching even if there was no Hulk. Very impressed, I can't wait for the next one.

I was really exciting to see this second Hulk movie but it turned out to be another disaster. Although, this second Hulk movie definitely better than the first one. I think the only way the producers could come up with a better and enjoyable Hulk movie is by the addition of another Marvel hero such as the Thing, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, and of course, Iron Man. Perhaps the reason for the movie to flop was that the villains in the Hulk movie don't hold up any reputation from the comic books. However, I must say that the special effects were awesome.

I thought the movie was a blast. It was funny, action-packed and had some good character interaction. There were so many one-liners, innuendos and cameo appearances, you need to pay attention and the old fans of the TV show will love it. I'm still not used to the all digital Hulk but they have come a long way and there wouldn't be any other way to do it and get the action sequences they do. You can see the Marvel comics team's influence in the story so much more than the last one. I thought Iron Man was better but I would see it again if I had the chance.

Excellent Movie!! Overall the best hulk movie ever! They finally did this one right! Excellent cameos from previous stars from the old series and of course the blockbuster man Tony captures the last scene and excites the croud! CGI was excellent! Story was excellent! The top notch cast of actors especially Norton was Superb! He play Bruce Banner true to the heart of the character. What people have to realize is that a Hulk movie is hard to do... Coming up with the proper story and Villain was very tuff. But in the end they finally pulled it off! Definately action packed and thrilling! I don't understand some people bashing the movie. The effects were maginifent and HULK looked so real! I was really impressed at how life like he looked. A great summer movie with all of what we've come to expect from Marvel studios. For the exception of the Fantastic Four and the Daredevil movies in years past, MS has done it again. THIS is the Hulk that I grew up reading.
No fancy story line, nothing intricate and a pleasant feast for the eyes. (And I thought that Transformers was a loud movie. This movie is LOUD! The theatres sound system was deafening) And how fitting after all. We are talking about our favorite Jade Giant.
First time viewers who are new to the Hulk character, or the casual fan as well as comic book aficianados will appreciate this movie with light tie ins to the television show while staying truly dedicated to the strip.
Cool cameos which I won't mention here for the folks who haven't seen it yet and fine efforts by Norton, Roth, Tyler and Hurt. CGI was pleasant to admire. The protruding muscles and ripped physique of the Hulk shows that someone in the cgi department had alot of fun constructing the main character.
So much so, the fans will appreciate the final 30 minutes of the movie. I would suggest seeing IronMan first if you haven't yet seen it as the 2 films have a direct line to each other laying down a foundation for some more upcoming excitement in our future.
All and all, a great summer movie and one I highly recommend. Although pretty strong for the young ones as the comic book violence is ratcheted up another notch, otherwise I would think this would be a great movie to enjoy on a fine Saturday afternoon or night. Great job!

I attended this movie with four teenagers and one other adult. The teenagers all loved it. We adults were unimpressed. If you are really into comic books, as were our four young companions, then your take on this movie will likely be, "Dude, this is really true to the comic books!" And that will be a good thing. And the special effects are "amaza-zing!" Which is a also good thing. If you are more into duller things, like plot development, character motivation, etc., your reaction will more likely be, "Well, it's better than the first Hulk movie." Which is to say, well, this movie is okay. There were some good things about the movie, especially the first half. They did a nice job of telegraphing the back story during the credits, just in case you didn't know how The Hulk became The Hulk. And the scenes set in Brazil were tightly woven and well-paced. Cusack is a genuinely engaging actor, and you feel the guy's pain as he lives his lonely life in exile, trying to control his anger and hide from the military baddies who want to use his Hulkiness to create an army of super soldiers. Unfortunately, as the movie leaves Latin America, it jumps the shark. I am reasonably willing to suspend disbelief, but I require that internal consistency and some level of credible character motivation be maintained. Certain decisions of the characters simply make no sense. Liv Tyler is not as unbelievable as a "cellular biologist" as I would have feared, although it was clear that they had no cell biologists among the film's advisors (or, if they did, they are now off somewhere trying to slit their wrists with their paychecks). And it's nice to see William Hurt playing something besides the burned-out slacker he has too often played. And there were some cute, sly, humorous moments with previous players of The Hulk, and hints about the sequel(s) to come. But, well, at $9.25 per ticket, I will be waiting for said sequels to come out on DVD. The kids can go to those on their own.

I t was fun to watch with all details about old Hulks. It was great stunts and effects. It was the best Hulk I ever saw and I am a fan since the first episode on TV.

While the movie may not have been as good or as fresh as Iron Man, Marvel's other big hit earlier this year, it far from disappoints. This is how a Hulk movie should be made: lots of action, smashing, action sequences, fights with adversaries. Anyone going to this movie expecting it to be better and faster moving than Ang Lee's Hulk will be pleased. Without giving away too many spoilers in the movie, the story picks up kind of where Ang Lee's left off: Banner is in Brazil working in a factory trying to find a cure, while trying to subdue the bridled force of rage within him. Shorlty after, the opening, maybe 20 minutes, Banner loses control and the Hulk steps in. There are three major sequences in the movie that eat up a huge chunch of its runnin time: the chase scene in Brazil, the Culver University Incident, and the Final Battle scene. Tim Roth is excellent in his role. Emil Blonsky's greed, desire for power and skills as a soldier were portrayed well, as were all supporting characters. Marvel chose a great cast for this one! In short, any Marvel fan will love this movie. The moviegoer needs to enter the theater with a fresh frame of mind and roll with the story. It was worth my $9 and I'd see it again!

This movie was great, it had action from the beginning to the end. For those who did not see the first one "The Hulk", I would suggest that you do, so that you can follow along a little better.

I went into the theater thinking this would be another sequel flop, corny, not very enticing. I was extremely impressed... the movie was very action packed throughout. Any movie that can keep my boyfriend's attention without falling asleep... is a definite winner !!

This movie is pretty entertaining and keeps your attention thoughout. Ed Norton is a great actor and pulls of the role nicely. I thought William Hurt was totally miscast and not good in this role at all.
You'll enjoy the movie, particularly if you are a child of the 80s who grew up watching the TV series. The cameo with Lou Ferrigno was awesome.

the fight scenes were good, but there should have been more Hulk, I didnt go to see a romance or Bruce Banner, I went to see the Green Guy smash stuff. Another dissapointing Super hero Movie with too much romance and not enough action.
