Very true to the comic, with a seemless integration of the tv show and marvel lore. Much much better than the first! From HULK SMASH to the Sonic Clap...Incredible Hulk delivers the goods and leaves you wanted more. I will see this multiple times in the theater.

This was a typical CGI action movie that lacked any depth. The acting was average. The writers could have made the story more interesting. The final fight scene was boring and predictable. I would recommend this movie only to a friend that appreciated CGI action films.

I took my Dad out to The Incredible Hulk as a Father's Day present, and we both had a great time! Edward Norton does an excellent job playing Buce Banner; he made the character believable and sympathetic. The Hulk is impressive too. He may be CGI, but the filmmakers went to great lengths to make the Hulk as realisic as possible. Not only is the Hulk's muscular build really something, but his facial expresions are so telling, you can see how much he cares about Elizabeth. I thought the Hulk was going to cry when Elizabeth kicked him. As with most other movies made out of Marvel comics, Stan Lee has a cameo in the film, but fans of the old Hulk TV show will be happy to know that Lou Ferrigno has a cameo too (the audience in the theater we were in was really happy to see him). I should not gloss over how cool the chase squences are, or how intense the fight scene is between the Hulk and the Abomination. I don't think I blinked once during any of those parts. This movie is a lot of fun.

Forget the 2003 version was ever made. This is a movie to ge see! I highly recommend it. Edward Norton was the perfect Bruce Banner and I hope If they make another Hulk that he will reprise his role. Liv was wonderful as Betty and I hope she returns as well. The story was excellent and the action and CGI couldn't have been better. See you in the theater because I'll be watching this one again!!!!

For the most part, the movie was good. It had good action scenes. It kept a good story plot and even tied into the marvel universe. Some of the earlier fights, I felt could have been better but overall no real complaints.

To say that this movie exceeded the previous Hulk is an understatement. Edward Norton can do no wrong. The action sequences were mind-blowing, the villain was suitably menacing and formidable, and the script was solid. If you're a man, your testosterone will be going dancing during this movie. Even though I liked the first Hulk, this one blew it out of the water. It was fast, full of action and the actors were fantastic. My only minor gripe with the movie was the plot, which was kinda, sorta weird. Yes, I believe comic movies should have plots. Check out Iron Man for a comic movie with a decent plot. Overall, fantastic movie because of the action.

I saw this movie, and thought it was great! I thought what made this movie really great, was the fact that it had a lot of action, and the acting was great! Its great that Marvel had two great movies in one month, and make a great sequel (and its not just going to be a sequel to the Hulk.) I would recommend this to all that love action movies, but i would advise parents to think twice about bringing there children under 6 years.

This movie was better than the last but the final fight scene seemed to drag and the theater had the sound up a bit loud. Edward Norton is good in the Banner role and the cameo nods to the old show were great! We enjoyed it, but it fell short of the great mark a little. My boys say "Iron Man was better"

The movie keeps you engaged from the opening credits. If you pay close attention you will see all the other marvel related items throughout the film. In this film bruce banner had a purpose for everything he was doing and the same goes for thunderbolt ross. the plot flowed so smoothly. i liked it.

They had 5 years since the last hulk movie and they still didn't get it right. Acting is bad, a lot of loose ends, things are 'assumed' and forced down viewers throats, girl sees guy and forgets about loyal boyfriends, hulk can't control his powers for over 5 years and bad guy learns how to take full control of its powers from the frist conversion, etc. just, don't waste your money

This movie is worth seeing, and a huge improvement compared to the first. It was better casted, had a better script and long gone are the frames that Ang Lee used in the first one. Hulk looked a lot better standing at only 10 ft then he did in the first one.

Personally I felt Norton was not the best choice for the movie as he is a bit f a drama queen trying to excert creative control and not just influence. He also is not very professional when he doesn't get his way. While I agree his re-writes of parts of the script probably did offer some improvements, Marvel managed to produce an incredible script for Iron Man without Edwartd Norton. In addition it is Marvel and not Norton who has financed and therefore owns the movie.
The movie is an improvement over the prior Hulk film from just a few summers bacj that featured Eric Banna as the Hulk. There were several parts to this version that make it the hit that the prior Hulk flm could not achieve but the most important was duration. Ang Lees Hulk film went too long but about half an hour. This new Hulk film comes in at under 2 hours and most importantly does not feel like even 2 hours have passed.
The movie featured several strong actors as well as numeours Easter Eggs (paying tribute to Bill Bixybx & Lou Ferrigno who made up the Hulk/Banner combo from the popular TV show a few decades back. As has become the norm, Marvel legend Stan Lee made a guest appearence. The movie even found time to poke a little fun at some classic Hulk such as the purple stretch pants.
All in all this was a well written, well acted and very well timed film with just the right mix of drama, action and even a touch of humour. I must say that I was disaapointed that the end did not feature the same Easter Egg found in the Marvel film with a certain well known actor.
Remeber that whatever you decide about going to the movies, never believe anything a critic says about a movie that's bad. Typically if it's not a 'Movie of the Year' film the critics will often give it a thumbs down especially if it's something the average guy likes to see at the movies.

Awesome movie. Although the storyline is predicatable, the movie stays true to the TV series with the late Bill Bixby. Edward Norton does an amazing job of portraying a gentle person filled with anguish by the fact he can not be with the lady of his heart. He also shows frustration and fear by being persued by the military, the constantly looking over his shoulder of possibly being found out and having to hide. Liv Tyler is wonderful as the sweet, caring Helen. She gives Helen an added depth by showing a strong independent side that was lacking in the TV versions charactor. William Hurt is compelling as the very cold, single minded, vengeful, angry Colonel. The CGI used to create the Hulk was incorporated smoothly without it looking cartoonish or fake. The cinematography for the action scenes gives a kalidoscope vision of color, imagery, and a feeling of "how did they do that?". Excellently done, and worth seeing again.

The special effects were great!! I loved that Ed Norton gave a credible Bruce Banner. He was a good looking green monster too! The lizard monster was a bit of a stretch, but that what is supposed to happen when scientist play around with DNA and chemicals and killers. I generally don't like mixing romance with action, that adds the sap factor that makes me (a female) squirm, but it was done very nicely. The only problem was not telling or showing what happened to Prof Stern when the toxin leaked into his head wound. Or was he the one flying out the window when the cops showed or is he going to be a future character??? I enjoyed this movie with my whole family Will definitely be on my DVD list!!

This exceeded my expectations as well. I have waited 25 years for a decent Hulk movie, and this was definitely it! Dont get me wrong, Marvel is doing incredible things these days...(sorry for the tasteless pun) From far better stories and dialogue then previous superhero installments, to carefully weaving the heroes world's together...its enough to make any comic-con atendee have a nerd-gasm...And while Ed Norton is a far better Bruce Banner than Eric Banna, and Liv Tyler a more genuine Betty, the film still falls a bit flat...Weak plot devices, and painfully slow pacing at the outset make the film a hard sell, and the climactic fight sequences feel more like a Godzilla or King Kong movie than a "hero" film...in the end, the film is a somewhat entertaining ride, but its hard to really care about a protagonist who spends half the film as an oversized, discolored, raging, CG monster.

Finally a director (Louis Leterrier) has stuck to the original concept put together by Stan Lee, The Incredible Hulk puts Ang Lee’s piece of garbage to rest, and hopefully Mr. Lee will stay away from directing comic book heroes. The entire movie was action packed from start to finish. Edward Norton did a fine job portraying Bruce Banner, Bill Bixby can now stop turning in his grave now that Norton has taken over from Eric Bana. I now can look forward the next installment.

I'm a huge fan of the comic book movies and so far this season, they haven't disappointed me. I disliked the first Hulk movie so much that I hesitated going to see this one. Boy was I glad I went. This one kinda pikced up where the last one left off but is much better scripted and has a few surprise appearances throughout the movie. Worth going to see if you like this genre.

now i love a marvel movie as much as the next guy but this on was geat if u can get over the fact that the guy playing the hulk is diffrent (an by the way did a wonderfull job better than the first person)then u will love the movie as much i did . I also love how they made the hulk more like the comic books an played around with is more like it was a great movie go see it oh an the ending is great =)
