Not being a true die hard trekker, but still a great fan of the series. It starts in the pre acadamy days and ends where the TV series starts. It was great hearing phrases and sounds from the TV series in this movie which gave it an authenticity feeling. The writers and the director did a fantastic job breathing life into "the beginning" that the late Gene Roddenbury would be proud.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was heartwarming and tearful in some places. The movies undercurrent theme and message is friendship and the bonds that are forged though the good and bad times. The pants were just a "reminder" during the girls growing up years to stay in touch and be there for each other. In the end, they realized they didnt need the pants knowing they will always have their strong bond of friendship. It also showed friendships can help your individual family life be better and stronger.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The Incredible Hulk

Awesome movie. Although the storyline is predicatable, the movie stays true to the TV series with the late Bill Bixby. Edward Norton does an amazing job of portraying a gentle person filled with anguish by the fact he can not be with the lady of his heart. He also shows frustration and fear by being persued by the military, the constantly looking over his shoulder of possibly being found out and having to hide. Liv Tyler is wonderful as the sweet, caring Helen. She gives Helen an added depth by showing a strong independent side that was lacking in the TV versions charactor. William Hurt is compelling as the very cold, single minded, vengeful, angry Colonel. The CGI used to create the Hulk was incorporated smoothly without it looking cartoonish or fake. The cinematography for the action scenes gives a kalidoscope vision of color, imagery, and a feeling of "how did they do that?". Excellently done, and worth seeing again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
