The graphics were excellent, acting was very good, there's an actual story line to the movie, great cast. Funny, keeps you interested. Great for people of all ages. Visuals were awesome. Make sure you stay after the credits are over!!!

This was a great movie for the family if you like action and excitment! I would definately see it again at the theatre.
It did seem to drag on a little long in places but as a whole awesome action. Robert Downey makes the main character stand out with his quick wit and excellent acting.

I was never an Ironman fan, but I loved this movie. It had wit, charm and heart along with a good dose of cool explosions. This was the perfect movie for Robert Downey Jr. I can't wait for the sequel.

Normally in superhero movies, the conversion from normal person to hero is not very convincing. Not only is RDJ capable of convincing you that he is Tony Stark, he convinces you he is capable of changing into a hero.
After two hours, you'll look back and realize that how most every scene was just Stark dealing with himself.
It brings characterization and acting normally not scene in this genre, and it rewards handsomely for it.

I took my 8 year old to see this movie because it was a Marvel Comic and he's really big into that and the Justice League cartoons now. I was not disappointed at all! Sounds effects and plot were perfect. Pepper Potts wasn't a needy girl but a real woman. No whining there, thank God. Can't wait for it to hit DVD!

I saw this movie on opening night with my son and it was well worth it! I highly recommend it to anyone - kid, teen, parent. One review I read prior to seeing the movie said there were some parts that dragged, but I didn't think so.

I had very high expectations for this movie and it met and exceeded them. Robert Downey Jr. was great and, add to that, the supporting cast only made the movie that much better.

going to be awful. I was surprised with the product overall. Downey, Bridges, Paltrow and Favreau did an excellent job with the source media. Entertaining and witty dialogue delivered by Downey make this film. Be warned though, the final battle is somewhat weak and brings the movie down overall, and the dialogue during this scene is atrocious.

I love this genre - superheroes, action (and I'm a girl p.s.) - but I have seen it done so poorly in the last few years I didn't have too much hope for this.
I was surprised in a great way. I think the quality that I loved most about this film was that I was never distracted by the presence of a computer. I'm sure digital manipulation was used quite a bit, but the scenes where he is building the suit, learning to use it, and the first night he flies - they felt so real and
convincing. Nothing like a mushy-faced Hulk or offensive and floppy Jar Jar binks.
And of course Robert Downey Jr. didn't hurt either.

Marvel has outdone itself with the production of their latest film, "Iron Man." The trailors and teasers couldn't do this film any justice, although they did showcase some of the better special effects. Unlike so many films we shell out our hard-earned cash to see, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the producers had hired people with the ability to act to portray the characters in this movie. Of course, there were the memorable one-liners that Marvel comics has become famous for, but the film's plot most certainly didn't hinge on them. The trailers released leading up to the film promised a special-effects-heavy action flick. There was plenty of action, even the most easily-distracted moviegoer will have no complaints about "slow bits" during the movie. The special effects were fantastic, and extremely realistic. Between the excellent special effects and the heartfelt acting, I had no trouble at all losing myself in the world they created for us. So often, these made-from-comics movies leave us sitting there throughout most of the film, inundated with obviously contrived special effects and simply unable to make ourselves believe what they're showing us on the screen. That's not true of Iron Man! I never thought I'd say this about a movie... but I hope they make a sequel soon.

This movie was fun to watch from start to finish! Robert Downey Jr. deserves all the praise he's been getting for this role - he was a pleasure to watch, very believable as a man driven to redeem himself. I was also highly impressed with Jeff Bridges - his appearance was striking and his performance was fantastic.
I can't wait to see what kind of extras the DVD will have, because you KNOW they had fun making this film! Don't miss out!

Seriously AWESOME!! It was well paced well thought well acted, and the Special Effects were great.
Also the bit at the end after the credits was good as well.

I really enjoyed this movie. The special effects were great and the story line moved along nicely. Robert Downey Jr., couldn't haven't been a more perfect fit for the main character. The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that he wasn't Iron Man more in the movie. I guess that's what sequels are for--and I'm definitely looking forward it it!!

Iron Man is not only one of the best superhero movies I have seen in a while, it is one of the best films period. This would be a very good movie even if Iron Man was never in it. The strength of the acting and writing make the over two over film go by very fast. I definitely recommend the movie.

Knowing very little about the mythos of Iron Man, I was really happy the film explained how Tony Stark, the billionaire weapons maker, became an ironclad superhero. The film stars a brilliant Robert Downey Jr. playing a fully fleshed out, very human character. The writing and direction of the film are both tip notch and the action is spectacular. Nothing beats watching a guy in an iron suit hanging on to the underside of a fighter jet!
Great movie that totally sets up what promises to be one of the best Comic-to-movie series to date. Stand back Spidey - here comes SHIELD!!!
Stay to the end of the credits! You won't be dissappointed!!!

Robert Downey Jr. does a superb job portraying a very human and flawed hero. While the plot is very predictable, it was a joy to watch Downey on screen again.
If there's a sequel, they should give Gwyneth Paltrow more to do.
