Very powerful & thought provoking

Though I had heard that this movie was an allegory for apartheid, I was not prepared for how strongly it would affect me. The inhumanity of the treatment the humans gave to the "prauns" was remarkable and extremely realistic. I try to be a generally optimistic person, but I imagine this sort of situation would happen if aliens arrived but couldn't leave. I was moved to tears on a few occassions of people's brutality.
The style of the movie was something new & the tempo really kept the viewer involved.
I thoroughly enjoyed it & will recommend it to many friends. This movie was very original & that is certainly refreshing in today's environment of remakes & reimaginings.

Iron Man - Best Hero Ever!

Knowing very little about the mythos of Iron Man, I was really happy the film explained how Tony Stark, the billionaire weapons maker, became an ironclad superhero. The film stars a brilliant Robert Downey Jr. playing a fully fleshed out, very human character. The writing and direction of the film are both tip notch and the action is spectacular. Nothing beats watching a guy in an iron suit hanging on to the underside of a fighter jet!
Great movie that totally sets up what promises to be one of the best Comic-to-movie series to date. Stand back Spidey - here comes SHIELD!!!
