The improvising from the actors was way too noticeable and we didn't particularly like it. Robert Downey Jr. was great, as always.

A lot of action, great characters, good story line, some comical moments in it. Robert Downey Jr deserves an Oscar for his performance as Tony Stark. Very true to the comic book.

I enjoyed this movie and was pleasantly surprised that I really took a shine to Robert Downey Jr. My husband and I both commented on the idea that the writers left the door open for a sequel to this action packed movie!

Don't be afraid to shell out the $10.00 for this one. Much like "Batman Begins" this movie develops a character correctly, "weakness" and all.
For one, the acting was incredible. Downey, Paltrow, and Bridges all offer spectacular lead and supporting roles respectively.
Paltrow, one whom I never specifically thought of as "beautiful" looks exactly that, beautiful.
The only necessary downfall I would say is that Hollywood was able to successfully push its agenda by having Mr. Stark (Downey Jr.) have an epiphany about his role in weapons manufacturing, realizing that his company directly funds terrorist activities that result in the deaths of American soldiers in Afghanistan...resulting in his transformation into the "Freedom Fighter", Ironman.
Overall, if you want a thrill ride I highly suggest seeing this movie. You shouldn't be disappointed. PS: Wait for the Easter Egg after the credits!!

I first went to see this movie opening weekend on May 2nd. A friend of mine wanted to go and I was not looking forward to it. I am not a huge fan of action movies and this just looked lame.
But when I saw the begining and through to the VERY end I was practically on my seat with anticipation as to what was going to happen next. This movie was truely awesome and I would recommend it to anyone. If you aren't into action flics just go and see it and you will be completely entertained

I actually only knew of the name Iron Man in passing, I went to the movie because my 2 younger boys and my husband wanted to go and I figured anything with Robert Downey Jr. Couldn't be too bad, because he is so cute! I really enjoyed the movie and I am not into shoot 'em blow 'em up movies. IT was funny, and entertaining but definately earns the PG 13 rating it is not bad by all means but kids under 13 might not get the humor or handle the few seconds of Adult interaction.

I am 55 years old and I remember reading Iron Man Comics as a boy. Watching this movie brought back many childhood memories while it also related to current experiences and current events. The relating to current events made it very special and was a brilliant touch.
The special effects and graphics were totally awesome as was the sound. This was one of the most memorable movie going experiences I have had in a lomg time.
I intend to see this movie again with my sons. It will be a great outing for us together, besides, I would like to see the movie again for myself.

I took my kids (10, 9, and 4) to the movie. The movie was awesome and enjoyed it more than them. The first part was a little too rough for my 9 and 10 (daughters), who stepped out for a moment, but once he rescued himself, everything was fine. They loved it after that.
PG-13 is correct. Don't take it wrong, awesome movie. Look forward to seeing it again with older company.

I wasn't interested in seeing the movie until I learned that Robert Downer, Jr. and Terrence Howard would be starring and when I saw the trailer. I was not disappointed. The beginning build-up, middle and end was smart and thrilling. Definitely a see again and a DVD must buy. Robert Downey, Jr. was fantastic and he never disappoints.

I wasn't sure Robert Downey Jr. could pull off Tony Stark but he did a bang of a job... the movie was funny and exciting... being a big comic book fan and Iron Man being one of my fav's, I thought this movie was a lot closer to what I grew up with than all the other recent comic book based movies...
I will see it again and will definitely add it to my collection when it comes out on DVD...

I went to this movie expecting to be disappointed. I am pleasantly surprised to say I was wrong. This film was all it was built up to be. I questioned the casting after seeing a trailer months ago but Downey, Howard, Paltrow, and gang blew me a way. I thought there was amazing character development. The script was witty and clean. Suspenseful and thrilling, I found myself gripping the arm rest during many different scenes. The story felt complete without being dragged out. One of the first in awhile I will probably spend the money to see again

i was not even interested in seeing this movie and i wanted to take the kids out on friday night, they 2 werent to interested... and let me tell u ... it was the best movie i have seen in a long time.... action packed with a very interestng storyline that can keep the adults and the children interested........ and a little tip.... when the movie is over watch all the credits, there is more after the credits are done!!!!!!!!!!
