I remember when he used credit cards to produce "She's Gotta Have it." But this new movie is so powerful that I had to constantly remind myself the it was from 40 Acres and a Mule. I am so proud of this young Morehouse Man. He thoroughly legitimized his argument with Clint Eastwood. It is such a shame that it takes Black filmmakers to even acknowledge that Black people made significant contributions and commi9tments to the evolution of this nation. Were it not for filmmakers like Mr. Lee, Black children would grow up with the erroneous impression that all Black people can do is what White filmmakers represent which is far too often far from the truth. Bravo Spike Lee. I eagerly await your next film.
I am 55 years old and I remember reading Iron Man Comics as a boy. Watching this movie brought back many childhood memories while it also related to current experiences and current events. The relating to current events made it very special and was a brilliant touch. The special effects and graphics were totally awesome as was the sound. This was one of the most memorable movie going experiences I have had in a lomg time. I intend to see this movie again with my sons. It will be a great outing for us together, besides, I would like to see the movie again for myself. CGS
