I was never the biggest fan of the Iron Man comic books as a kid, but they really did a fantastic job with this movie. I was extremely impressed by it on all levels--acting/casting, characters, action, special effects and story. It looked and sounded killer, and I really was sucked into the plot. Go see it on the big screen.

Normally I would not watch this type of movie, but my boyfriend talked me into it. It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It was great, I have already recommended it to several people. One word of advice though......If you watch it in theaters, get there early. Luckily we did. It was packed!! Awesome movie!!

Iron Man is a great action packed movie!!! i been a fan of Iron Man fan for years... talking about the DC comics. The movie follows it a little bit in the beginning but not at the end. This movie by far excceded all my expectations!! It was fun, exciting, and just the perfect, popcorn eating, big screen blasting summer movie. I no longer go to the movies unless it is a movie that needs to be seen on the big screen, and this is one of them!! Robert Downy Jr is perfectly cast in this movie and makes it fun! It's tough to walk out of that theater without a grin on your face.
MOST IMPORTANT if your a comic book fan...STAY THROUGH ALL THE CLOSING CREDITS for a suprise!!!

My husband and I loved it - original, great plot, super characters. I would have liked to see a more brainy Pepper Potts - Paltrow was great - but I left wanting more from her. A friend said it was a kid movie - it is definitely NOT a small child movie. Great Movie!!

I have never been a fan of the Iron Man comics and never had the time to read them. So when the movie was to be released I really had no intention on seeing the movie.
My sister-in-law suggested that we go see the movie and I took the my wife and three kids to see it.
It is very impressive. The special effects are exceptional. They are so good that you do not realize that there are parts of the movie that are special effects. What I liked about this movie is that there was real acting and not just action sequences.
Remember to stay till after the credits for there will be a clue to a sequal. This is a movie that actually is better than the hype that led up to it.

Although the set up for the movie was a bit disturbing, the end result was great. Robert Downey, Jr. showed once again that he can play any role and he was wonderful as Tony Stark. The main cast was extraordinary, Gwyneth Pltrow, Jeff Bridges and Cuba Gooding, Jr., and, along with a good screenplay, made the characters very creditable. The stars of the movie were the special effects and suit designers, the best iron suit you will ever see. You felt like the creators of the suits were just having a blast with the design.
Well written and well acted with a good story line and a even a few surprises. A very nice start for Marvel Productions. Look out Spidy, Batman and Superman. There's a new rival in town.

My son saw it first and said it was good.. that was an understatement. The graphics were terrific, script good... did not like the bedroom scene for younger children, but overall was super.. Looking forward to seeing it again AND the future adventures from Marvel... ps..thanks Stan.

This actually was my second time seeing Iron Man. My girlfriend who doesn;t like these type of movies (comic book heroes) and I bet her she would like this one. And she did. She actually said we can buy it on DVD when it becomes available. I loved it, the action, the storyline, the sarcastic comedy and all the actors were amazing especially Robert, Terrance, Jeff and Gwyneth.

I didn't know much about this movie but took my kids and enjoyed it. Predictable but fun. Robert Downey Jr. was fun. Gweneth Paltrow was uninteresting but passible for the role. Jeff Bridges was unexpected and interesting. Only one racy scene but nothing you don't see on TV these days. Like how it had some moral code as to weapons manufacturing and its contribution to the world climate. Worth seeing.

i thought this movie was the best! i just saw it with my friends, we were unsure because weve heard good and bad things about this movie. But after it started i was in awe. It was so well planned out. And whe it was all over i wanted to see it again. A great thing about this movie is that after its done it doesnt feel like you just sat through a 2 hr long movie.
