This was an amazing movie. They took the special effects up a notch. In the first movie they would use angles to hide the fact that Aslan was a CG. This time Lucy put her hand right on Aslan's face and it was very convincing that it was real contact something very hard for CG artists.
During our viewing we had the oportunity to see the first 15 minutes twice because of the reel sticking and had to move to another showing. I loved this movie because the costumes and sets were very well crafted and the artists should be very pround of their product.
The acting is so much better. The actors increased experience made this movie so much better. Not only will this movie become part of my DVD collection it will be very difficult to wait that long to return and see it on the big screen.
If you have not seen it yet, GO SEE IT! If you have seen it then you know what I am talking about. I think it is even a better picture than Iron Man and That is saying something.
I have never been a fan of the Iron Man comics and never had the time to read them. So when the movie was to be released I really had no intention on seeing the movie.
My sister-in-law suggested that we go see the movie and I took the my wife and three kids to see it.
It is very impressive. The special effects are exceptional. They are so good that you do not realize that there are parts of the movie that are special effects. What I liked about this movie is that there was real acting and not just action sequences.
Remember to stay till after the credits for there will be a clue to a sequal. This is a movie that actually is better than the hype that led up to it.
