I mostly enjoyed the latest Transformers movie. The transformations from robot-mode to vehicle-mode and the fight scenes were really great! The plot wasn't the greatest, but seemed to make pretty good sense. I just don't understand why filmmakers think that they have to add senseless, crude humor, like the couple of scenes showing the Chihuahau mounting the other dog, the new foul-mouthed robots for both sides, etc. They could have cut the 20 or so minutes of senseless crude sensual humor out of this movie and made it PG. The movie would then have appeal to a broader audience and made quite a bit more money.
This movie was great. Both Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downie Jr gave stunning performances. The development of Downey's "Stark" character from millionaire playboy to millionaire humanitarian superhero was very believable. This was a good adaptation of the comic.
