Can the twilight series possibly get any better? I enjoyed the others very much, but Breaking Dawn kept me on the edge of my seat, and brought me to tears at the same time. I'm so in love with the characters of this movie, I could get lost I feel I was right there with Bella & Edward at their wedding. And then the topper, the baby girl. I can't wait for part 2. Devoted fan and viewer.

Fantastic! Bill Condon is a wonderful director and I knew he would do the movie justice. It is by far the best movie of the saga at this point, and I am sure that Breaking Dawn pt 2 will be just as fantastic!! The cast is just as awesome! They all rocked every single one of them!!

I went with my daughter fully expecting her to love it and me to just enjoy being with her, boy was I wrong. While I did enjoy being with my daughter, I was very surprised with my own reaction to the movie. I loved it, I was cheering, laughing and yes even tearing up a bit. I actually wanted to stay and buy another ticket and see it again, didn't do but we will definately se it again, and real soon. Prior to last night, I was curious about how and where they would end part 1, and they way they chose to end this part was totally right. Can't wait for next year to see the second part, maybe we could convince them to release it over the summer and not to keep us waiting a whole year !!! What do you think Twilight fans, who should we talk to about that? Got any ideas?

The movie parallels the book perfectly and the ending is PERFECT! Those complaining of no story... read the book. This is a 2 part movie to a long book. This first movie is all baseline and set up- Exactly how the book starts and exactly what it is supposed to be. Twilight fans love the fact that these movies do not stray from the books. . and any twilighter will love this movie and love what it is... the beginning of a great story :)

I was impressed that they were able to follow the storyline so closely considering the material they had to cover. I was hoping for more chemistry between Edward and Bella on the honeymoon, but with the PG-13 audience they were rather limited. I loved the ending scene when Bella was transformed; she's simply gorgeous. I really hated Rosalie's makeup. Good grief; she's supposed to be beautiful, not caked in makeup!

My daughter and I (and the rest of the females in the movie) "ooh and awwww"d throughout the movie (romantic wedding, honeymoon, etc) but the guys got bored quickly, unless there was fighting (not the focus of this movie). Overall, very sweet and romantic with steamy love scenes.

This movie was emotional. The ending part Bella (non-speaking part) believable: thumbs up to make-up crew. The set designers did a beautiful job with the homes and wedding scene. Stay for creepy credits. I will watch it again..... a hundred times before the ending comes out.

Usually sequels get worse, but Breaking Dawn, Pt 1, only got better. It was everything I hoped it would be, following the book nicely. I couldn't wait to see how they did the honeymoon and the birth. The most impressive parts to me were the makeup/computer graphics for Bella during/after her pregnancy. Her death (for a short while) was so very believable, on the verge of being creepy. Awesome makeup! The only thing I hate is that we have to wait a year to see the finale!

The most indepth of the series so far, finally felt a true, genuine connection with the characters and didn't want the movie to end. Special effects were much better. For me the beginning was a bit long. Overall I loved it and can't wait for part 2.

I really enjoyed this. I enjoyed seeing Edward happy and not so intense all the time. He seemed more real with more personality like in the books. I also like how they added some action in that was not in the book. The only scene I wish they had done was Edward and Bella telling Charlie about their engagement.

This was my favorite movie is the series by far. I loved how it was So close too the book. The scenes with Bella being pregnant were amazing. I have seen this movie twice already. I took my son and he was kicking and screaming the whole way saying I don't want to see it. When it was over he asked when is the next one that movie was great.

I have loved this series from the first one, and this is the most disappointing to a degree I can not believe. Story was so predictable and scenes were repetitive, and the main characters truly lost their mysterious and romantic elements. The ending was obvious form the start, and there was no story to support to this ending.,,,audience were laughing a lot when it was supposed to be intense moments, which showed this one really lacked the story telling elements.

I thought the movie was great. I really enjoyed it a lot and I cannot wait until part 2. My boyfriend did have a hard time with some of the bloodier scenes. The movie was definfitly for a more mature audience than the previous ones were. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was prepared to be disappointed after reading the "professional" reviews, but I had to ask myself if they had seen the same movie I did. It was excellent. Hair and makeup were much better. Rosenberg cleverly sped some plot devices up. Meyers PG13 desire meant the problematic scenes were presented in a way I would feel comfortable allowing my 5 year old gdaughter to see. Well done Condon et al.

I know for movie purposes a movie cannot be identical to the book, but this one was pretty close, it was a good as you could get even with a pg-13 rating. the after birth scene was a little disturbing with bella grey and basically dead and a bloody mess on the table, but was ofcourse to be expected. I was really glad to see jacob imprint on renessme before the end of this movie and loved the very end when bella opened her bright red eyes. I cant wait until the the last installment!
