I went with my daughter fully expecting her to love it and me to just enjoy being with her, boy was I wrong. While I did enjoy being with my daughter, I was very surprised with my own reaction to the movie. I loved it, I was cheering, laughing and yes even tearing up a bit. I actually wanted to stay and buy another ticket and see it again, didn't do but we will definately se it again, and real soon. Prior to last night, I was curious about how and where they would end part 1, and they way they chose to end this part was totally right. Can't wait for next year to see the second part, maybe we could convince them to release it over the summer and not to keep us waiting a whole year !!! What do you think Twilight fans, who should we talk to about that? Got any ideas?
We were at opening night and we will definitely be seeing it a few more times before they take it away. This movie is the one movie that most resemlbes the book. The action was great, if not downright scary at times. The whole theatre felt every emotion, and we cheered and gasped, and a few of us, me included, even shed a tear or two. Hurry up July !!!
I haven't read any of the books, but I have seen the first two movies and I still can't decide whether this one was worth it or not. My problems are partly with the camera work. There were two distinct parts where the camera was visibly shaking. I can't decide if the director wanted it that way to depict some sort of emotion, or wheteher he just didn't notice it ! My other problems are with Bella. I do not like that she continuosly leads Jacob on. She knows very well how he feels about her, she says she does not feel the same way about him and yet she takes advantage of him every chance she gets. I hope that every one watching sees how hurtful she was and makes every effort to not behave the way Bella does.
This movie was adorable, funny, insightful and the best movie we have seen in a while. I went with my two 17-year-old daughters, and we simply loved it. We laughed, cried and cheered. We loved the way the old characters stayed true to form and the way the new characters blended right in. My one objection, this movie makes it very hard for a Mom to clean out the " old " toy chest. As if that chore wasn't hard enough, now we have to think of the toys feelings, jeez !!! Can you say " Guilt Trip "
I think that this movie was awesome!!!!! It was sooo much better than the first movie. They also did a whole lot better of making the movie like the book. I mean there was some parts were it wasn't exactly the same but it was still good enough to fit. In my opinion at the end of the movie they did a horrible job of making the end of the movie add up to the book. Two things I liked the most were the acting and the effects. The actors did a really good job of portraying the characters. A lot better than they did in the last movie. And the effects were awesome. They did a really good job with those too.
Best movie so far, while it still missed a lot that was in the books, it wasn't as noticeable this time around. The movie flowed very nicely, making the story line very easy to follow. The action scenes were great, and we even jumped in our seats a few times. We will definately see this one a few more times before the summer is over. Once again, best movie so far.
I thought that it was a really good movie. The only bad thing about it was that they left out alot from the book. Some of them were important scenes too. The actors were really good too. I mean you could tell that it was Bella and Edward and not just some actor. Overall the movie was really good. I highly recomend it. =)
