I thought that this was a great movie for the 4th installment. It was funny, and stayed true to Shrek. It was fun for all ages. The kids loved it and I would see it again. We watched it in it's regular format. Very fun, but leaves you with the question: Is this really the last one?

As expected Shrek...The Final Chapter was lots of fun! The kids loved it, and mom did too! Plenty of laughs for kids and adults. 3-D wasn't necessary, but our fault for getting to the theater too late for the 2-D movie time. This is definitely a must see!!

The movie's first moments show us a Shrek who has become disillusioned by his calm family life and dreams of the good old bad old days. A few bad decisions later and Shrek finds his dream has become his worst nightmare. This time, Shrek is the one in need of rescue and Fiona is (literally) the Warrior Princess. Great for all ages, the movie is a must see.

Compared to the other Shrek films this one was "okay". It wasn't entirely bad, but there were a few "dry spots" within the film. I would recommend this to true Shrek fans because as a parent of three boys, who love Shrek, it kept their interest. Also we saw it in 3D, but there are very few parts where the 3D feature is even relevant; the orginal version would be almost the same.

Loved it. A very nice ending to a beautiful series. I loved the storyline and so did my two 5 year olds. They were entertained from beginning to end and so was I. I always enjoy the lessons the movie teaches us from children to adults.

In my opinion this movie does not compare to Shrek 1 or 2. True love's kiss again? It's almost as if they ran out of ideas so went back to the first two movie's 'kiss' theme.
Not to mention that Rumplestilskin scared my 4yr old.

Enjoyed the final installment with my entire family. We watched the 2D version which was just fine with us. Most of the time my 3 yr old smears her 3D glasses anyway, rendering the whole experience useless for her. The imagery was extremely colorful and the humorous dialogue was fitting for both kids and adults alike. Puss N Boots was hilarious, as was Donkey. Well done.

I really enjoyed all the Shrek movies as an adult (my kids loved them as well) and we talked about it on the way home and we thought the final Shrek was the 2nd best Shrek ever behind the original. We highly recommend going to see the final installment. Eddie Murphy (AKA Donkey) is hilarious.

Saw :Shrek Forever After" yesterday and both my five year old girl and I thought it was alot of fun. Some other reveiws mentioned how it was not as good as the others but I dissagree. I thought it was just as funny and thrilling as the previous films. Antonio Banderras was hilarious as Puss N' Boots and the choices of popular songs was great. I think the whole family will have alot of fun with "Shrek Forever After".

Two adults, 6yr old and 3yr old Thought the movie was pretty good....my 6yr old loved it.....3yr old giggled quite a bit as did I.....if you like the Shrek series, you will like this one.....yes, they could have made the story stronger but, remember it IS a kids movie and both mine enjoyed it....that's good enough for me! Although there really wasn't anything NEW (same old jokes and banter), I found myself satisfied with the franchise end. The final chapter really tied all the lose ends and even some ends I didn't really care about so 3 out of 5 stars from me. Go see it because you love Shrek.

Took my grandkids to see it.. We all laughed all the way through. We liked all of the characters. Graphics were not as amazing as the first Shrek . Now I am jaded.

I thought this movie was good. It seems when you hear how good a movie is before seeing it, it just doesn't live up to expectations. Same with this movie. I enjoyed it and expect some of the lines will continue to be used in my house for fun. Watched by 2 adults, 12 yr old, 13 yr old, 9 yr old, and 7 yr old. The 7 yr old liked it best. She didn't find it scary at all, though she's not sensitive to scary movies that are cartoon. We all enjoyed it. Just don't go into the movie expecting greatness. You'll enjoy it.

We've (9 year old daughter, 6 year old daughter, and I) been looking forward to seeing this Shrek movie for a while, especially after learning that it was to be the last one.
Within 20 minutes, my 6 year old was asking to "go home right now!" Yikes. I don't really blame her. She's super sensitive and the movie was too scary. A little bit of scary here and there would have been understandable. Rumple and the witches were over the top evil.
My older daughter enjoyed the movie. I enjoyed Fiona as the hero.
I would reccomend the movie to a friend, with the warning that a sensitive or easily scared child will not enjoy it.
