We've (9 year old daughter, 6 year old daughter, and I) been looking forward to seeing this Shrek movie for a while, especially after learning that it was to be the last one.
Within 20 minutes, my 6 year old was asking to "go home right now!" Yikes. I don't really blame her. She's super sensitive and the movie was too scary. A little bit of scary here and there would have been understandable. Rumple and the witches were over the top evil.
My older daughter enjoyed the movie. I enjoyed Fiona as the hero.
I would reccomend the movie to a friend, with the warning that a sensitive or easily scared child will not enjoy it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
