This movie has 2 of my favorite actresses, Betty White and Jamie Lee Curtis, but both were under used in this movie. This movie was rarely funny, slow moving, and just pretty boring.

It was cute and as light as cotton candy. I expected more. What really bothered me was the shallowness of the characters. This was all slapstick and no feeling. It was all about the "quick fix". I just did not believe the ending. Joanne was played as an mean spirited witch right up to the time she was going to lose her fiancee. It didn't hold true that she "tried to be a good person" since her parents died. She sure didn't show that at all until the very end. It appeared that she just learned the "right things to say". The writers could have made her a more humble character waaay before the end. It was an okay movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon on television...but not worth paying the high theatre prices.

I really loved this movie because it was funny. It was funny at the end to see that each generation went through their own battles. Very entertaining.

I really was not excited to see this movie. Went with my wife but was surprised how funny it really was. Betty White was freaking awesome in this movie so funny for her age. I was glad we went to it had a good time watching this one. Another chick flick wedding movie. They did make it very funny. Everyone in the Theater was cracking up. So I rate this one a very good one to go see if your wanting a funny movie to pick you up.

Funny. Also, had a good moral to the story.However, it was a predictible story and the fued went all the way down to the grandmother. All in all, it was entertaining and I enjoyed watching it. Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver were a good match to one another. Victor Garber's character was funny.

If you want a decent movie that your young teenage daughter can watch without fear of excessive language, violence, and sexual content then this movie is for you. It doesn't even promote premarital sex like most movies today (yeah!) I would like to see more movies like this one.
