It was cute and as light as cotton candy. I expected more. What really bothered me was the shallowness of the characters. This was all slapstick and no feeling. It was all about the "quick fix". I just did not believe the ending. Joanne was played as an mean spirited witch right up to the time she was going to lose her fiancee. It didn't hold true that she "tried to be a good person" since her parents died. She sure didn't show that at all until the very end. It appeared that she just learned the "right things to say". The writers could have made her a more humble character waaay before the end. It was an okay movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon on television...but not worth paying the high theatre prices.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
