Visually stunning but gawd awfully boring. I knew going into it that Tim Burton doing Alice was just too obvious and was going to be regrettable and it was. The pace was slow and the verbal banter of L. Carol was totally lost. And seeing it in IMAX 3D was a mistake.

The colors, clarity and special efects were amazing. The story line was predictable but entertaining for kids. A little scary for smaller kids at the very end of the movie. Overall a great 3-D IMAX experience.

Alice in Wonderland was simply put, Magnificent. Saw it on IMAX 3D, and it really brought the movie to life! The tea party scene was quite funny, especially the crazy bunny. Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter is stupendous, although at one point I thought I heard Jack Sparrow's voice and saw him running across my screen! Loved it either way!

This is a refreshing surprise for anyone expecting to see the same Alilce in Wonderland story. The movie actually addresses the themes from Lewis Carroll's second installment, Through the Looking Glass, which I didn't expect at all! Loved the graphics and of course Depp delivers a superb performance as a conflicted Hatter, loyalty to his Queen or love of his profession? Definately not a child's movie based on the portrayl of the Bandersnatch and the Jabberwock (creatures) and animated violence but a truly fantastic viewing for young teens and up. I can especially recommend IMAX 3D for this movie!!

I found it truly mesmerizing!The imagery was absolutely amazing. It was a fantastical “grown-up” journey through an age old childhood tale. I found myself not wanting to leave Underland. Johnny Depp’s performance was nothing less than spectacular. He, as always, stole the show. He always finds a way to breathe life into the quirky & eccentric characters, & this performance was nothing less than marvelous. He adds a certain flare that breathes life into a movie. Helena Bonham Carter,& Anne Hathaway did wonderful in their roles as expected, but Mia Wasikowska was quite the surprise for me. She really was splendid. As always I applaud Tim Burton & was genuinely thrilled with the movie. I will definitely buy it when it comes out on video

The 3D effects were awesome and anyone that knows the Lewis Carroll books already knows his stories were dark..and well..so are Tim Burton's. But knowing to expect that I found this movie delightfully entertaining.. My boyfriend and I took in this show on Saturday. The visual effects were pretty stunning. I think perhaps the role of Alice was poorly cast: likely she matches the description from the books, but she was so frail. I will say that Anne Hathaway was nicely cast as the White Queen. Very good special effects, typical Burton/Depp treatment of an old story line. Quirky for adults, engaging for children (not younger than 7 though! - could be a little frightening). Entertaining couple of hours. The visuals are good and not much to do to change the story.

Overall a good flick. Prime fault was failure to take full advantage of Johnny Depp's talent. He should have had more film time. The Red Queen, Rabbit and other chacter's could have been trimmed to make more room for Depp. It felt like in some way he was paid to put his name on the movie. Not to say he wasn't substantial, he was and he was great.
