I found it truly mesmerizing!The imagery was absolutely amazing. It was a fantastical “grown-up” journey through an age old childhood tale. I found myself not wanting to leave Underland.
Johnny Depp’s performance was nothing less than spectacular. He, as always, stole the show. He always finds a way to breathe life into the quirky & eccentric characters, & this performance was nothing less than marvelous. He adds a certain flare that breathes life into a movie.
Helena Bonham Carter,& Anne Hathaway did wonderful in their roles as expected, but Mia Wasikowska was quite the surprise for me. She really was splendid.
As always I applaud Tim Burton & was genuinely thrilled with the movie. I will definitely buy it when it comes out on video
