Took my 19, 18 and 12 y/o and we all Loved it. The colors, the 3D effects, the costumes were amazing!! Depp was great as the Mad Hatter would have loved to see more of him. The girl that played Alice was amazing, she was perfect. I recommend this to anyone - the extra price for 3D at IMAX was so worth it!!!!

Great movie! Great entertainment, fun to watch. Tim Burton is so weird and twisted; this was a perfect movie for him to make. I wish the twins (Tweedledee and Tweedledum) were in it more. They were great! The whole cast was awesome, especially Johnny. You can always count on him to make the character come alive. I loved it and will see it again.

Took my 6-year-old and 10-year-old to see this. We all thought it was great. Seeing it in imax 3D is definitely worth it. The graphics were great and I really like that it is not a remake of the original, it takes place after Alice's first visit to wonderland. Loved the make-up, costume design, and characters.

Just back from Alice-In Wonderland. It was FANTASTIC! I don't understand why it has been getting negative reviews. The NY Times critic called it dark, and creepy. He said that Alice looks dazed (Well yeah). And that this was not your great-grandmother's Alice. Well, thank goodness for that. Great set and costume design. Great cast. I loved it. If you get a chance to se it in IMAX, do so

I was prepared for a action adventure spectacular, but I didn't get that. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with the storyline. The story was empty and didn't give a lot of excitement. I definitely enjoyed the 3D effects, but there weren't enough..... Absalam's presence reminded me of a person's spiritual mind and thought process......the mad hatter seemed to be the part of you that pushes you to go beyond yourself and step outside of normal thinking.....to go with what your spirit or your gut tells you.......A strong message that "Woman Rules" was pushed throughout this story and that was a good thing!! However, I am torn on this one really. I would still recommend this to friends though.

Really loved this movie. I wish Hollywood would clean up their act and focus on more movies with a PG rating. This movie proves there are so many that can be made suitable for all ages in the family. The language and ratings dip out of control so it's increasingly hard to even rent a movie! Johnny Depp was amazing as was Helena. They could put them in any movie together but more PG would be great! This is a movie you can take your kids to and though it is "dark" and I would use caution with some 2-3 yr olds, any other age should be OK.

Lots of hype, didn't quite live up to it. So much emphasis on Depp going in as the Mad Hatter but Alice was the real star (I know, duh) and Mia Wasikowska was very good in her role. I enjoyed the Tweedle brother characters banter as well as Anne Hathaway's self-mocking prim and properness. Not sure how much the 3-D/IMAX experience really added. It was good, not great.

The movie falls flat. The visuals are nice at times and the red queen steals the movie and delivers the only lines worth a smile or chuckle. However, it just didn't maintain my, or my friends' interests. I saw the movie with a bunch of kids sitting next to me and they would take their 3D glasses off and stare into space and looked entirely uninterested with the movie. I felt exactly the same way. If Alice in Wonderland can't bring joy and a sense of adventure to children then it will be completely lost on adults, no matter how in touch with their inner child.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Having seen the original in an altered state of mind, this one was surprisingly well put together. I think Johnny Depp is a perfect fit. Mia Wasikowska did an excellent job as well. There were a few slow points but, all in all they kept a good pace. 3D IMAX was also a great way to see it but I think it would be equally as good seeing it in 2D. Go see it.. I was very pleased that they included more of Lewis Caroll's works into this movie. They made it dark as I think it was originally intended without making it too dark. Very balanced, very good work!
