The movie falls flat. The visuals are nice at times and the red queen steals the movie and delivers the only lines worth a smile or chuckle. However, it just didn't maintain my, or my friends' interests. I saw the movie with a bunch of kids sitting next to me and they would take their 3D glasses off and stare into space and looked entirely uninterested with the movie. I felt exactly the same way. If Alice in Wonderland can't bring joy and a sense of adventure to children then it will be completely lost on adults, no matter how in touch with their inner child.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
