Lots of hype, didn't quite live up to it. So much emphasis on Depp going in as the Mad Hatter but Alice was the real star (I know, duh) and Mia Wasikowska was very good in her role. I enjoyed the Tweedle brother characters banter as well as Anne Hathaway's self-mocking prim and properness. Not sure how much the 3-D/IMAX experience really added. It was good, not great.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
