I went to this with my teen kids thinking that I would just sit through it. However, I really enjoyed it. I liked the morph that Alice made and that she was true to herself and did not cave to peer pressure. I'm hoping for a sequel when the "sweet feeling" develops

It's Tim Burton, but to me, a mellowed down version of him, telling the story of Alice's return to Wonderland. I saw it in the IMAX 3D Theatre and everything was just colorful, bright, always moving. The only bad thing I can say is that I was actually tired when it was over. I felt like I'd been through all the action going on. It IS fantasy. You do have to suspend your disbelief. But it was entertaining, not too long, and just the best in new eye candy that is out there.

The movie had a very good vibe to it. I enjoyed the music, and the expressions of the actors. I had expected something just a little different, but this movie was amazing none the less.
Tim Burton was amazing for this movie, I think he really brought out the true colors. Having Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter made me enjoy it even more. His voice, and the way he carry's himself is perfect.
When I left the Imax theater we felt like we were all still in the movie. It truly was amazing to watch the imax version because it made everything so much more surreal.

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, truly, is quite the spectacle to behold. However, the story told, aside from being an ill-advised continuation of Disney's cannibalization of Lewis Carroll's beloved "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass", is hollow, heartless, and wholly disappointing. In the end, brilliant CGI and an equally brilliant performance by Johnny Depp aren't quite worth the price of an IMAX ticket.

I saw the IMAX 3D version. It was SO worth the extra $. The colors, the characters, the mood - Burton did a fantastic job on all of it. This movie tells a new story about what happens to Alice years after her first trip down the rabbit hole. Shortly after Alice's father dies her mother accompanies her to a garden party at which stuffy Lord Hamish Ascot proposes marriage to Alice in front of a very large audience. Alice tells him she needs a moment to think this over and runs off into the garden and then follows the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole and into Underland. Alice discovers she has been summoned to Underland to be the White Queens champion in a match against the Jabberwocky, a dragon controlled by the Red Queen. The costumes are amazing. The scenery and special effects are dazzling. This movie tells a story about a young woman finding her path.

Great in IMAX 3D did not like the character of the white queen besides that the storyline and special effects were good

This movie rocked - it was engaging, light-hearted, colorful, funny, endearing, magical and just plan fun. Tim Burton did a "brilliant' (and that's "brilliant" pronounced with a British accent) job in bringing his "Alice" to life in his "Wonderland". A must see film.

This was a very entertaining flick.
I was a little disappointed that the story is not the story of either of the Alice books, and is, instead, a take off on them, but, it is good, anyway.
Depp is great. Helen BC is REALLY great. The visuals are AMAZING, in IMAX 3D!!
Go see this.
