All around great experience - I'm a bit discomforted by the final resolution and the way the "antagonist" had to be dealt with (just didn't make sense - especially with the "ant" analogy), but overall great experience.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Entertaining, but perhaps it's because AVATAR was so spectacular, underwhelming.
On the positive side, many cool scenes to look at, and H. B. Carter is great, and so is Johnny Depp. Otherwise it's a B-.
Oh. . . and Danny Elfman's music -- dude, what happened to the melodies a la Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, etc. . . ?? All you have now is just noise. Very bummed (and I'm a huuuge Oingo Boingo Fan).
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Go and enjoy the sht out of yourself seeing this game-changer. I read the negative reviews from "least number of stars" and those people who are moaning about the "environmental message" of the movie are idiots. It's not about that, it's about pure great amazing cinema, great story, amazing scenes, and just all around AMAZING. Go enjoy yourself - 'nuff respect to James Cameron.
