I felt that the main thing lacking in this film was the story line. There wasn't much going on in the story and the two stories hardly connected at all as it didn't explain how it was related to Alice's first visit to Wonderland. However, being a fan of Alice and all the quirky characters Carrol Lewis introduced us to in the book, I appreciated the film. I adored all the animation of the characters and the acting was well done. It probably won't win any awards, but it was a delightful and whimsical experience for me.

Overall the movie was ok... Definitely not like the original, so if that is what you're expecting you will be let down. The 3D effects were good but could have used a little more. I felt as if the movie was lacking something, not sure what. Also Anna Hathaway was not the best choice for the White Queen. She just didn't fit in with the rest of the cast.

Actors: Superb...English actors always bring depth to a storyline. Johnny Depp just can't be type casted (fortunately!)! There could not have been another Mad Hatter! Only negative actor...Anne Hathaway. She just does not have the animation required for this genre. Two preferable considerations could have been Amy Adams ("Enchanted"- Giselle) who is very animated and Tilda Swinton ("Narnia" - white witch) would have both been excellent choices. Blue Caterpillar (Severus Snape in Harry Potter) was cast perfectly with his unusual intonation and rhythm in speech. I loved all the actors and costumes. This movie was perfectly suited for 3D with all the action occurring in and around forests a lot of the time.

I am a huge Alice in Wonderland fan so I went in to it expecting to be disappointed. I was floored. The movie was incredible. I won't give anything away...but will just say that it is a must see. Some reviews said that it was "too dark" for children. I disagree. My 7 year old loved it just as much as I did!

I came for the spectacle (and mainly for the Tron trailer) but was pleasantly surprised at how engaging the actual movie was. (Except for one brief cringe-inducing scene towards the end so bizarre that it's almost like dadaist performance art humor in retrospect).

This movie was relly cool I would watch it again.It was funny had a good story.It made me laugh the cat was so cool.The mad hatter was good too his makeup would Changed with his mood.The qween of heats was funny too she loved to say (OFF WITH YOUR HEAD)
