I took my 11, 10, and 8 year old grandsons to this see this awesome movie. We all loved it. During the move, we sang and moved to the songs. The boys were mesmerized. As we left the movie theater, we were doing Michael's dance moves. The movie left us wanting more of Michael's work. But, we were happy we had the opportunity to have a glimpse of his gift as a music genius.

I never got the opportunity to see Michael live in concert, so this movie was the next closest thing. This movie was very touching and reminds us all of the true musical genius and performer Michael was. There will never be anyone else like him. I was only saddened by the sight of how thin and fragile he looked, and have a better understanding of the stress and pressures he was facing, yet angered as to why no one seemed to take his health more seriously.

fantastic entertainment. MJ was truly one of the best Pop stars ever. The behind the scenes rehearsals, dancer auditions, development of the working bond between Michael, the musicians and dancers had more depth than could have been enjoyed by simply going to the concert. One of the best movies I've seen in years!

This movie gave the viewer a peek into various rehersals preparing for the Michael Jackson concert tour, that sadly was not to be. The film footage showed us that Michael Jackson STILL had it... he was the ultmate performer, and a total perfectionist at his craft. Regardless of the negative press he received or whatever personal problems he may have had, Michael Jackson should be remembered for what he did best--ENTERTAIN. If I could give this movie 10 stars I would. I am telling all my friends they must see this movie. I danced to the Jackson 5 when I was a kid, and I was so envious of the dancers that got to rehearse with him. The music was flawless and his voice brought tears to my eyes. Great movie. Shows how hard Michael was working on what would have been an excellent concert tour. He was so hands on with everything. Hard to beleive he was 50 with the moves he had. Can see how he was a huge influence to all the other pop singers. Definately the "King of Pop", and everyone else copied him.

I love how this movie provides a wonderful, intimate view of Michael's brilliance. He was a masterful entertainer, and the film is rich in entertainment -- great music, inspiring dance & moves, artistic camaraderie. I love being able to see Michael at the top of his "game," masterminding the details of the performance/event, sweetly -- and wisely -- interacting with the other artists, so keenly attuned to what is effective artistically. And I also love seeing that the director, Kenny Ortega, genuinely cared about Michael's well-being. I think it is beautiful to see that in these days so close to his passing, he was among those who loved & appreciated him; and he was high energy, his love & mastery in full expression. This movie inspires.

The movie is a fitting tribute to a great artist who always strived for perfection out of respect for his audience. He drew from emotions so deep most of us won't ever experience, he had a profound sense of professionalism and an humble demeanor. While it is tragic that the movie is all that is left of his talent, it shows us a side that was rarely seen in public and illuminates all of those character traits. MJ was a beautiful human being chased by greed and sensationalism. He was judged and destroyed without being known. His concert would have been incredible.

Outstanding movie experience! If you go thinking you're going to witness flawless, polished performances, you're missing the point of the movie. Having said that, I was glad to hear Michael stay true to the classics and not change them up to the point that they are unrecognizable (like some singers do when they perform live). Even when he's not happy with the results or is giving critical feedback to others (and it's clear he's every ounce the perfectionist), he does it in a loving way. Beautiful movie!

This movie showed what a perfectionist and genius choreographer, singer, songwriter and visionary MJ was. It showed a MJ who was excited, creative, and passionate to do this last tour. It was awesome to see his attention to every detail, small or large. He was energetic, intense and masterful. He will be dearly missed.

It was a great experience to see Michael behing the scenes... the real Michael, sweet and dedicated to his work, his human sensibility is something not easily found in people today... I wish I would have had the opportunity to know him personally and to become his friend... This movie was exactly what I was expecting.

I absolutely was amazed by This Is It. MJ had a way of mesmerizing everyone in his presence, which is exactly what he did during the movie. I was very pleased with how the directors emphasized MJ as a down-to-earth individual with kindness and an open mind. The behind the scenes footage is so crisp, so interpretive, so welcoming. I would definitely reccomend this movie to anyone.

Michael was truly a musical genius! It is evident in this film that he was a perfectionist in every aspect of his music. He was respected and appreciated. I am grateful that my children and I have a piece of Michael to treasure. I cannot wait for the DVD to become available!
