The movie, like the man it showcases, is the whole package: it flaunts a flashy groove, full of MJ's husky singing and sexy dancing, plus exciting backup singing, dancing and drop-dead great instrumentalists. The special effects are out of this world, and Thriller fans will face the ultimate thrill.
But at the core we get to experience a performer who demands the best of himself and his onstage partners, for one reason only: to give back to and honor his fans, his art, his earth, and his god. His unearthly talent, combined with his unfailing gentleness and respect, delight and charm, make his loss so hard to bear. He is our generation's Mozart, and seeing him in action on the big screen gives one a glimpse of heaven on earth.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
