a wonderful conclusion to the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo trilogy. Time flew by as I sat on the edge of my seat watching the complex and interesting plot unfold. The movie wrapped up all the loose ends of the first two movies in a very satisfying and compelling way. Noomi Rapace continued to be disturbing as a socially disconnected person while Michael Nyqvist's dogged determination to uncover how she was victimized by a rogue government group kept the tension high. One of my favorite movies of the year!
shades of Good Will Hunting, Ben Affleck's breakout movie. Affleck is superb as both actor and director in this taut, edge of your seat bank robber adventure. It's wonderfully cast with Renner as his out of control psycho side kick and Hamm as the remorseless FBI stalker. Affleck's back of the yards character is subtle and moving. I loved everything about the movie.
fantastic love story. beautiful people in a romeo and juliet meet the werewolves and vampires. will see again to enjoy all the rich photography and subtleties.
great, fast paced action. Was on the edge of my seat the whole movie. Cusack was his usual other worldly self. Woody Harrelson did it again with his goofy craziness like he played in Zombieland.
fantastic entertainment. MJ was truly one of the best Pop stars ever. The behind the scenes rehearsals, dancer auditions, development of the working bond between Michael, the musicians and dancers had more depth than could have been enjoyed by simply going to the concert. One of the best movies I've seen in years!
precious Amy Adams and the lisping Frank Azzaria keep the new plot at the Smithsonian jumping. The special effects, particularly at the Air and Space Museum, were excellent.
while the special effects were great, the characters were 1 dimensional and stilted. Worthington did a great job as the guilt ridden murderer redeeming himself, but Christian Bale was rather bland.
was capitivated from begining to end. every characcter was well developed with all the nuance of a more subtle subject- not just an action movie but more. Zach Snyder kept the comic book feel while letting the big screen explode the action at every turn.
