This was different than I expected, I did think it was going to be good, and did not disappoint. I think I would only recomend it to people who are big fans and realize that this is just backstage rehersals. A lot of the stuff dancewise was great and you could see a sense of humor in the Man, also it shows a little bit how fascinating and in awe of him other people were.

It amazes me that at 50 years old he sings and dances as well as he did when he was 20!!!!!! I grew up loving Michael (I am 40) and seeing this just breaks my heart knowing that he is no longer with us, and we will not be able to watch his genius anymore except in film. I love how everyone around him was in total awe at all times! He will be missed, God bless you Michael.

This movie was somewhat more like the Michael Jackson concert I never got to see growing up. After seeing Michael during all of his rehearsals, I still can't believe he's gone. Anyone who is a perfectionist can truly appreciate Michael Jackson in his entirety. Dancing with Michael must have been an exhilarating experience for those who performed with him. I wish I could have been there with him. He will be missed more than he would have known.

My two year old (believe it or not!) is a huge fan of MJ's music, and I spent quite awhile debating whether or not to take her to see this movie, as she's never seen a movie in a theatre before. I am SO GLAD I decided to take her. She loved it, I loved it, it was amazing. I kept thinking back to the first time I saw MJ in concert, in the mid 80s, and I got teary when I looked over at my daughter and she was singing along with Man In The Mirror. It was really special for me to share it with her. The film was really well put-together, & so bittersweet. This concert was clearly going to be out-of-this-world. So sad that it never came to fruition. I can't say enough good things about this movie.

OMG, this was absolutely fantastic! I am slightly older than MJ, but I remember loving his music and talent. Seeing him at his age doing all the right moves and better than his younger dance partners, was unbelievable! No one will ever match his talents. His children will love this when they are able to finally see their father at his finest! I thought I was going to lose it and took plenty of kleenex, but surprisingly enough, it was more of a celebration to see him perform as well as he did 20 years ago! I smiled the whole time, got a little teary towards the end but would definitely see it again. I'll buy the DVD for sure!

It would have been the concert of a life time to see. Michael really put his soul, vision, and heart into this. The music and effects were great. I went to the movie with my daugher who is 16. Even though she did not grow up with MJ, she loved and respected his music and dance. We laughed, we cried and we are sad that this great person has passed way too soon....but this movie was a great tribute to the man, to the singer and to the performer. I am sad that these concerts were never able to take place as they would have been the greatest ever!! I feel blessed that I was able to share this experience with my daughter and see a glimpse of this wonderful performer in action. Thank you.

I LOVED every minute of it. I am so grateful I was able to watch the rehearsals/movie. This was great since i would not have made it to the concert and now I know what it is all about. I took my grown kids with me to see this movie and we all sat there and sang along and bopped all through it. I thought it was a wonderful way for all of to see MJ as he really was with his peers. I cried at the end because this is the last time we will ever see him in this context. What a concert that would have been if he were alive to see it through.

I came into this movie hoping it wasn't just another attempt to profit off of Michael Jackson since his death. What it was, to my family and I, was an intimate look into Michael the artist. I could see this film again and again. Michael's genius is evident in the music, choreography, staging...smallest detail. I appreciate perfection. His energy, dance moves and vocals were tight. Being 20 years old, I never had the chance to truly experience MJ in all his glory. This movie was a way for me to do so. I saw MJ as the beautiul, caring soul he was as well as the musical genius. I didn't cry as I thought I would; rather, I felt completely overjoyed that I was able to see MJ in such a heavenly light.
Everyone, especially his critics, should see this film.

Loved it!!! Best Concert ever!! Will see it at least 2 more times. Want to see it in I-Max. I went with my daugher(in her 20's) and my nephew (in his middle teens) and we all love it!! LOVED IT!! LOVED IT!!!

the only thing I know about MJ before watching "This is it" was his famous "moon-walk." After watching the movie, I'd recommend everyone to see it. I never expected that I'd hear such a GREAT voice in a rehearsal. MJ dances scored 100, even though he is already 50. He dances way better than his dancers who are only in their 20s. He's a perfectionist! He really loves to perform and was looking forward to see the stage and his fans in London. it's a MUST SEE film!

I loved this movie! Michael Jackson was a true genius. This movie should be required viewing by all merely for the message Michael tried to get across, regarding saving the earth. He portrayed it so fabously in the last song "Man in the Mirror". That is when I lost it and couldn't hold back the tears any longer. A must see for all.

This was an excellant movie. It was well worth the money. It is a shame that this concert did not come to be, We can only imagine after watching it how awesome this would have turned out. You see MJ in a whole different light watching this film. He truly was a Genius. His passion for music/entertainment/creatviity is so evident in this film. There were times when I truly had goose bumps watching the way the music penetrated his whole being. He truly felt every note and it came out in his performance. You have to see it on the big screen with the awesome sound to truly experience it.
