Went to hear the music basically and interested in the last months of MJs life rehearsing, but totally got our monies worth viewing this documentary. I would tell anyone even IF you do not want to see MJ or his music, everything in this was so interesting, Stage setups, makeup, music, sound boards, lighting, all of it was so entertaining. Yes all about MJ was interesting as well. Sad. To think so much talent, and ready to come back on tour and then gone. So it has a sad element to it as well. But as a whole the experienceviewing this was WONDERFUL and well worth purchasing a ticket! And the Music memories were an added +.

I took my 9 year old who wants to be like Michael in every way. He has not stopped talking about it! It was great to see him work behind the scenes. He is an incredible entertainer! He strived for such perfection and his fans truly meant everything to him. You can tell he truly loved what he did ...... His music and legacy will live on forever! I would go see it again.

I didn't what quite know what to expect when I took my 11 year old daughter to see This Is It. From the emotional interviews in the beginning to the heartfelt dedication at the end, we were completely entertained. We found ourselves feeling the need to clap at the astounding performances we witnessed. We had to remind ourselves that these were only rehearsal clips we were watching. We could only imagine what the concert would have brought. Michael showed a professionalism and a meticulousness for perfection that should be appreciated by all. This was a fantastic movie.

I saw the movie last night-unsure how I would feel after it was over....It was an incredible experience!!!! To witness such a genius at work-He was an amazing talent. This was just what we needed, another glimpse of Michael. His spirit shines through. His loving, generous spirit. A great talent and a sensitive soul. He's free from the torment of this earth. God bless him. WIth this movie we get to see what we will sorely, sorely miss and we didn't even know how much we loved him until he was gone. He was strange, but wonderful. I feel this was a wonderful movie. It was emotional for me and my family because we loved M J . The movie showed how mis-understood MJ was by the world. He was kind, thoughtful and loving. I wish people had figured it out before this tragedy. Mission Valley Theatre didn't give the movie the bells, whistles, advertisements, banners, posters, etc. like they did the Asian Festival; but that's San Diego for ya! At least L.A. did! :(

The movie showed a side of Michael the public was not privy to. He was a very gentle and kind individual. I often think of what the world would have missed out on if Joe Jackson hadn't pushed his family into music. The movie will allow many fans to see Michael who otherwise would have never been able to see his concert. My heart is saddened for the cast who never had the opportunity to do the show live with MJ. I feel privileged to have gotten 'behind the scenes' access to MJ's rehearsals. It shows how much creativity, love and hard work he and his crew put into making sure the fans would truly enjoy the concert experience. It must have been the same for his past concerts as well.

I liked the fact that it gave fans an opportunity to see Michael involved in all aspects of putting his show together, from directing, cinematography, choreography, and even in helping choose the dancers for his show. I had to put aside all my negative feelings about everything that went on on Michaels life over the years in order to watch this movie. I grew up with his music and loved it.. I saw it last night with my mom-inlaw , we both enjoyed it very much , felt like we were at a concert. I am not a huge Michael Jackson fan, but I enjoyed this movie. He was not the weird guy with all the plastic surgeries. He was a preimere showman that knew exactly what he wanted. It was obvious that new saw the entire concert clearly in his head, and he worked to help others see that vision. If he would have lived, this would have been a dynamite concert.
I still think he was a strange guy, but the world lost one of its best entertainers when he died.

Forget the controversies for a bit. My wife and I both enjoyed this movie. This is rare for us because we both like different types of movies. To see a performer behind the scenes, to see how he works with others and how others respond to him was truly inspiring. Of course, to each his own but I would recommend seeing it with an open mind.

I went to this movie strictly to take my 10 year old. I wasn't looking forward to it only because I have so much to be doing but I couldn't let her go alone. This movie was a truly wonderful movie, and lets you into his life to see things from his point of view. It also lets you see how mis-understood he was and how horribly the press treated him. I believe after seeing this which made me tear up several times.....that had he have lived to perform this tour it would have been his return to the spotlight in a positive way. What a great behind-the-scenes picture. It really shows the depth of MJ's talent in so many areas, his charm and warmth, how even the most talented people (the dancers, singers, etc.) were still in awe in his presence, and overall that he really was a patient, caring, giving, "normal" entertainer (if any celebrities/entertainers can truly be labeled "normal"). Certainly not a movie, but a documentary of the exceptional talent Michael Jackson had/has. I'm middle aged and has been a fan for years and just sat there feeling the love that he put into every aspect of his rehearsal. From the music to the lighting, to encouraging the young dancers and musicians. He seemed like a wonderful person to work for and to know. Maybe all the other entertainers should take a lesson and be more like him.

The movie is AWESOME!! I shows how amazing and wonderful MJ really was and that he still had it! I think they should still do the tour and have his voice piped in and then a different back up dancer perform each son.g I would go and take my kids for sure!

Singing and dancing truly amazing and you easily forget his age! No real close-ups, only brief dialogue and no negativity - a huge positive giving an uplifting feel despite being aware it was filmed close to his death. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie despite the underlying sadness that the concerts will never take place. Wanted to get up and dance and sing along on numerous occasions. A wonderful insight into the backstage preparations by 100s of people. The LIVE shows would have been incredible although hard to believe he would have been able to sustain that many live performances but the feeling is that this really would have been IT - a MUST see!
