Great movie with some surprise twists. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. This is one of those movie that you will probably want to see again, to pick up on the things you missed the first time. Matthew McConaughey was great as always. I love Marisa Tomei, any movie with her in it is good.

Not sure what movie some of these reviewers saw. It could not have been "The Tourist" that I saw. This was a very boring 1 star movie. The primary intent seemed to be to show how beautiful Angelina is. OK, mission accomplished. Most of the movie was just close-ups of Angelina, saying nothing, with a kind of knowing smirk on her face. Neither character, Jolie nor Depp, seemed to be invested in their roles. The movie makers must have been relying on beautiful scenery and two huge stars to make this movie a box office hit.
Writers and directors love a "twist" at the end of the movie. However, for a twist to work, the actions of the characters throughout the entire movie need to make sense when you look back on the movie after knowing the twist. Think "The Sixth Sense". Not so here. If you are a Jolie and Depp fan save your money and wait for the DVD.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This is a excellent movie because of Jeff Bridges' performance. He really deserves an Oscar for this role. Who knew he could sing? He does his own singing in this movie, so does Colin Farrell. Don't believe it? Hang around after the movie and watch the credits all the way through. The songs are the last things listed on the credits. Both Jeff and Colin are credited with singing their songs. The movie itself is a little slow at times, but Bridges acting job makes it all worth while. The May-December romance between the Bridges and Gyllienhaal characters is a little hard to buy into, but you soon get use to it. Good movie, go see it.

People who have seen this movie seem to like it lot. However, many critic have been extremely hard on it. Most say that Denzel turned in his expected great performance, but that the movie was poorly written. I agree that Denzel's acting was outstanding, but I disagree with critic on the quality of the movie, I think that it was great too. Do yourself a favor and see this movie and judge for yourself.

I am not a huge Michael Jackson fan, but I enjoyed this movie. He was not the weird guy with all the plastic surgeries. He was a preimere showman that knew exactly what he wanted. It was obvious that new saw the entire concert clearly in his head, and he worked to help others see that vision. If he would have lived, this would have been a dynamite concert.
I still think he was a strange guy, but the world lost one of its best entertainers when he died.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
