Knight and Day was surprisingly refreshing. A nice combination of action with a good bit of humor. The norm seems to be either one or the other but this movie had the FUN and the Shoot'em up in abundance. And to add an extra plus to the mix, they through intelligence into the script. While admittedly a fun romp and constant action I found this movie pretty predictable. I am a big fan of Tom Cruise's work I am not so much of Cameron Diaz. It would've been nice to develop the characters a bit more (they were pretty much one dimensional) in particular Roy's relationship with his parents. While I enjoyed the movie it was definitely not worth the $46 I spent on 4 tickets. I could've waited 'til it hit the $3 theatre.

I worried that we'd already seen all the funny scenes in the numerous previews that have been shown... I was pleasantly surprised. I had high hopes for this one after seeing the trailers for it and laughing- the film does NOT disappoint. Sure, it asks you to suspend a little more disbelief than others, but the actors and plot don't really take themselves so seriously that it's hard to do so.
Cruise is funnier than he's been in years (or ever?), and really seems to have matured in his delivery and comic timing.
The action sequences are great and worth the price of admission, but it's Cruise's performance that really pulls this one together.

Such is not the case with Knight & Day, this movie is laugh out-loud funny from start to finish. Cruise gives his best performance in years. Not being a Cruise fan at all I was kind of leery about actually going to see a Tom Cruise movie in the theater (I mean come on $10 is a lot to pay for an actor I don't normally like). The chemistry between the two stars shows on the screen, and when you learn that they did most of their own stunts, it makes the movie all the more rewarding. Nothing I hate worse than seeing an action film and the stunt guy (or woman) looks nothing like the actor. The movie is a rapid fire joy to behold, the different locations are stars in this movie just as much as the two stars. From Austria to Boston and all points in between this is one summer movie that won't leave you wanting your money back. I for one would love to see a part 2 or even a part 3, as long as all involved remain on board. Good job Mr. Cruise, who knew you could be funny.

Say what you will about Tom Cruise off the screen, he was really, really good in this roll...a performance enhanced further by unmistakable chemistry with Cameron Diaz. The movie gets going quickly and holds pacing throughout and despite a pretty sizeable body count (which I liked), my wife (and most of the young ladies in the audience) really liked this movie too.

Nice escape movie with Cruise & Diaz creating good chemistry. Parts defy believability, but then that's Hoolywood! Overall a great time; this will appeal to a wide audience and have a great run in the theaters!

My wife and I saw the Sneak Preview last night and this was one of the most enjoyable and best movies we have seen in a long time. We go to the movies practically every weekend too. The chemistry between Cruise and Diaz is wonderful. Tom was spot on in his role mischievious spy. The actions scenes were great and amazingly realistic. So much great action and creative humor. We plan to see it again with our teenage kids. You will not be sorry if you go see this movie. Sit back, relax and be prepared to be swept away with pure fun, excitement and laughs for two hours!
