The Kid's Got Grit

The young girl Mattie shows the most grit of all in this superb film. Great character development, some "take it on faith" dialog from the young girl, who sounds like a newly graduated lawyer with her negotiating technique early in the story, to surprising depth of her character as the driver of the action of the film.
A fine film that all should enjoy!

Just as good the 2nd time as it was when I first saw it. The IMAX 3D experience is unlike anything you can easily describe - suffice it to say you are "in" the movie rather than merely watching it. The imagery remains the most astonishing part of this film; it's as if you can "feel" the characters' own reactions to all the on-screen action.
Quite simply, don't miss this once in a lifetime experience!

Great Light Hearted Fun Escape!

Nice escape movie with Cruise & Diaz creating good chemistry. Parts defy believability, but then that's Hoolywood! Overall a great time; this will appeal to a wide audience and have a great run in the theaters!
