Like most people, I've struggled with connecting to Tom Cruise over the last couple of years. Well, I decided to suspend my prejudices and give him a chance. Guess what? I liked Knight and Day. I was very entertaining even if it was predictable. Cameron Diaz was a little annoying but she does have great screen chemistry with Tom so the movie worked.

The movie is great to watch if you are "under influence" - the plot and action scenes are not believable. Something is seriously wrong with this movie: Diaz looks terrible (there are so many new cute actresses that would be a better fit instead of an actess whose prime time passes long time ago), Cruise as athletic action super agent - hard to believe. Overall - bad script, wrong cast.

This is a good movie. It's not your standard action template so don't expect an explosion every 5 minutes. They do talk and develop the characters and then there's some action. I waited for this movie, expecting to have a wonderful time. I was not disappointed. I really like both Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, as both display so much enthusiasm that I have fun just watching them, together, as in this movie, or separately.
The premise for the action is not nearly as thin or ridiculous as it was for Killers, which stretched the imagination beyond anything acceptable. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the fun and suspense of an action thriller, but engage my mind just a little, won't you? This movie did that, and threw in a tiny bit of romance as well. Not only that, but I got to see it for $5 before noon, so how can you miss?

Alot of action, which was well done, however, there was only two places that were almost funny. Neither star showed their acting skills.
Diaz had too many close ups - not good, but, her figure is great. Cruise is always nice to look at....to many profiles , as it seems as if he is preening. They did not really have chemistry, they seems to be reading their lines. The movie was just action shots put together. The editing was poor. It was o.k. I guess I expected a bit more from Cruise/Diaz but I guess they did the best they could with what they had to work with.

Some good action scenes, but boring story, and very disconnected! Wanted to see a great movie with cruise and Diaz, but it just didi not happen! watch it when it comes out on video!
