My son and I really enjoyed this double feature in 3D. He had never seen these movies in the theatre so it was a double pleasure for him. The 3D effects were excellent and seeing the two movies on the big screen added to the enjoyment. Definitely go see Toy Story and Toy Story 2 before it leaves the theatres.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We love the movies already, but in 3D they are just that much more amazing. I think Toy Story 2 was a little better for the 3D, just the way the movie was made. If I could go back, I would have taken the kids to an earlier show as my son fell asleep with about 30 minutes left. But it was a great experience and definitely recommend it!

Only one complaint, and it is a big one! The 3-D adaptation was clumsy at best and completely unnecessary. The 3-D glasses were a royal pain in the rear. I spent the whole time cleaning them for the kids who kept pushing them up with greasy popcorn hands. You could not see the movie clearly without the glasses, and I had a headache from them after the first 10 minutes

3D really enhanced the experience of watching Toy Story. Though we had both seen the movie in the past, both my seven year old and myself still had a wonderful time.
The movies are fast moving and even young children were quite captivated with the 3D, which was a concern I had seeing quite a few young viewers in the audience. I'm confident now that my three year old will be able to sit through the double feature.

I adore the toy story movies and to have them in 3D is even better! Everything was done so well & it was so enjoyable! I loved the double feature...even sitting for so long my boys had such a great time! They sat and watched each movie in it's entirety! They kept sayin' it's really coming out to touch us! It's a fantastic movie! I was really well pleased! Definitely worth the money!

Really enjoyed the movies even the second time around. Went with children ages 3, 9, 15, 16 and children and adults really enjoyed it. The 3-D effect was great for the 3 year old, the rest of us thought it could have been better. Limited 3-D effects, but even with that we totally enjoyed it.

Great clssic movie! It was wonderful to see it on the big screen again BUT 3D? What a rip off ! It was more like it was digitally cleaned up than 3D. This movie was not dsigned to jump out at you like Philharmagic at Walt Disney World. I will never go see another 3D movie again and way over priced tickets at $40 for 4 people! watch it on your own High Def Tv at home.

We enjoyed seeing these movies again. Seeing them together really made Toy Story 2 stand out as the better of the two. Considering the movies were made before current 3D technology, and without 3D in mind, we thought they were just fine. Sure it was like HD in places but still worth the time and money to see and enjoy. The trivia during the intermission really engaged the audience we were a part of. We saw it at Downtown Disney so that might have something to do with it!

Having missed the original iterations in cinematic presentation, I've been looking forward to seeing these up on the big screen; all in all it was a rewarding experience.
To agree with the rest of the reviewing community, Pixar did a good job of covering the age of these movies with clever use of the 3D enhancements, and the newer film looked pretty impressive compared to some modern attempts.
As a side-thought, the preview of the third movie has a pretty close similarity to the Brave Little Toaster from these initial trailers, but should prove (in addition to this limited release) that the franchise has economic staying power.
If this could possibly spark a trend which brings back the Double Feature, I'm all for it.

This was a lot of fun for our whole family. My boys are 11 and 12, and this was so much a part of our lives when they were little. The 3D effects were pretty good, just not enough of them. The movies were as good as the first 50 times we saw them. Can't wait for TS3.

Movies were great as always. 3D? Was really great in some places but like other reviews I see, was more HD than 3D for most of the movie(s). Still a good show. Fantastic seeing it on the BIG screen. Take the kids, young and old, it's a good time.

I really enjoyed Toy Story 1&2 when they were first released, and to get to see it in 3D with my 8 yr old sister was even better. I laughed with anticipation to parts I knew were funny, and laughed as if it were the first time I've ever seen them. It was great. I am really glad they showed it again in the theaters. Movie execs should do this more often with geat movies.

My 29 yo daughter and I went to the double feature because it had been years since either of us had watched Toy Story 1 or 2 (yes, we have the DVDs). I found myself sitting as close to her as I had done in her childhood - shoulders touching. It was a great mother-daughter outing! And no one should miss the intermission! WOW! Loved every minute we sat in the theater! Well done!

My son and I went the night it open. It was better than I expected. The picture came alive on the screen. On the way in to see the movie. I bumped into my niece, who had brought her 3 yr old twin daugthers. People in the theatre were impress that they sat thru both without a peep. We can't wait until Toy Story 3

I'm blind in one eye so, might not be able to see the fuss about 3D movies, think it's an unnecessary feature in this type of movie anyway. simply watching them on a big screen is enough and the 3D glasses are so lame to wear. 2 movies was to much to watch in a row for a 3 1/2 yo, would have been nice to just see Toy Story 2 since that is her favorite because of Jessie, which she was dressed up as the day we went to see the movies.

I have always loved both Toy Story movies, so I particularly loved them in 3-D. Great detail--Mr. Potato Head looked just like the molded plastic toy that he is! I felt like I was a part of the movie, with the characters; fabulous detail--right down to the dented floor molding in Sid's house!

This double feature reminded me and my family why we love Pixar films. These are two of the finest children's films ever made, and the 3D experience only adds to the enjoyment. The last couple of Pixar films have been disappointing - we are really looking forward to Toy Story 3 and Cars 2!
