we loved it. my 5-year old, and (nearly)4-year old had a great time and lasted thru both movies.
The only flaw was that the 3-D glasses are adult sized so when my 3-year old sat back in the seat the back of the glasses reached the seat before her head and the glasses would fall forward. We had to keep readjusting before i thought to bend them into shape.
But it was a really fun time.

I had forgotten just how funny and enjoyable these two movies are to watch. Nobody does it better than Pixar and disney's 3d is incredible.
A true double feature. The best show at the movies.

Loved Toy Story and Toy Story II when they came out and even nicer in 3D. I seriously hate going to the movies now and wished I went to the late show....people can't control their kids or stay off the cell phone, but it was cool to see Woody and Buzz back on the big screen. Don't know if I'd put up with the theatre again for Toy Story III though, just wait for that one on TV.

3D was very cool, only issue was with the theater itself, AMC better get with it or they are really going to start losing business, need to institute zero tolerance for cell phones and post sign saying so, and you idiots who just open your phone you need to know ITS IRRITATING! You should know better by now. Now back to the review, took the kids, and even though we have it on DVD the 3D was really cool, and 3D stunk when I was a teen, see Jaws 3D, or uh rather don't, two movies are a bit long though, so make sure you are not sleepy, I found myself really tired toward the end of the 3 1/2 hours, good thing there was a 10 min break.

We took our family - mom, dad and the 3 kids, 13, 9 and 8. They were all excited but when the movie started they became glued to their seats. The 3d effects were great - the kids had no problem with glasses or seeing the 3d effects. Welcome to a new generation - of course the movie was excellent! Recommend for any Family night out!

I took my 4 year old to see it. He had just been given Woody and Buzz for his birthday a couple of weeks ago and LOVES Toy Story. He didn't wear his glasses most of the time, but I thought the quality of the 3D feature was excellent! Neither of us had seen TS2 and we enjoyed it.

I went to watch this movie with my friends and one of my friends younger sibling. I was blown away by the excellence in depth of field they had achieved in toy story 1. i also enjoyed getting to see the preview of toy story 3 and the intermission feature. now for the bad part. toy story 2, it really lacked in that depth of field for me. not to mention after being in the theater for one movie i was pretty much ready to leave half way through the second. overall though it was a fun experience. like any of my favorite movies being re released, like nightmare before christmas, i couldnt really help but be in awe of this.

We LOVE the Toy Story movies and cannot wait for Toy Story 3 to come out next summer. My 3 kids and I talked about what we thought could happen in the 3rd one and really are looking forward to seeing it.
Our only thing against the double feature was that the 3D glasses gave 2 of my 3 kids and me a headache. I don't find them comfortable at all and wonder if there could be a new design to them? Perhaps more of a wraparound type fit? Anyway, it might also help with Toy Story 3 to only see one of the movies in 3D at once.

My 10 year old daughter and I saw the 3D movies as a special treat. It was a great evening with overpriced popcorn and drinks. We could have watched them at home AGAIN, but the details that we saw on the big screen surpass anything we could have experienced at home. Pixar was innovative at the time of the original release and I was reminded of the preciseness of the artists and animators. How often do you appreciate the texture on a Potato Head? You pick up those subtleties of texture and coloring in the theater that you don't see at home. The 3D effects were present and made the movie seem more like a REAL roomful of toys that really do come to life when you walk into the room. I loved it.

We have a 9 year old son, and Toy Story was the first movie he ever 'got into' when he was very young. We had loads of toys from the movie, and the DVDs got tons of use - many times daily. He may be a bit older, but we all enjoyed seeing the mvoies in the theater, and the 3D effects were an added bonus. Great movies for any age. He can wait for Toy Story 3 to come out!

I was not sure my 4 year old twins and 3 year old nephew would make it through the first movie much less the second movie having to use the 3-D glasses.....well, much to my surprise they made it through BOTH using only the 10 minute intermission as a bathroom break!!!! I highly recommend this for those whose children love the Toy Story series... Can't wait for June 18th when the 3rd one comes to theatres.

We have seen the Toy Story 1 and 2 movies dozens of times on DVD at home. The 3D effect is not what it was advertised to be. My 6 and 4 year olds would say to me during the movies " Daddy when is the 3D going to start? We have these movies at home daddy". To see the movies on the big screen was nice but I would not pay the current ticket prices to do so. Oh well, we love the Toy story movies and we will see Toy story 3 when it comes out but we will not see any more 3D movies until the reviews are out. It simply costs too much too pay for something that does not deliver.

We took our 5 yr. old daughter to see the 3D double version of Toy Story yesterday. It was a lot of fun for her to see it with the 3D-glasses. It wasn't really the 3D experience we were hoping for. Also, most of the movie was very cute and enjoyable BUT parts of the story are not made for little kids because it freaked our daughter out to see the creepy toys with no heads or missing parts. If you show a kids movie DO NOT present upcoming movies that are not for their age!!!
We had to look at the new movie with Jim Carey "Christmas Carol" which is a fantastic animated 3D movie but it scares the heck out of little kids!

Nice double feature to spend a fun outing with your kids. The Toy Story movies are very good. The 3-D effects were not exactly as advertised (the new Disney 3-D) but I expected that since both movies were not originally done in 3-D.

Pixar, you have done it again.
Now...it's been forever since I`ve seen both Toy Story one and two, and I have to say,
even though the 3D didn`t have anything poping out at you like in the trailer...it still was a great experiance.
The length might of been long, but when you left the theater you really think that the movie was worth it.
The ten minute intermission was cute, along with the triva and fun facts along with it.
All and all, this was a great experiance.
And hopefully everyone will have a friend in them when they leave.

I can't count how many times I have seen this movie with my 5 yr old son. My son loved the movie but was restless the last half hour. There isn't a big 3D difference. If you are only going to see cool 3D then I wouldn't spend the money. BUT if you are going to spend the afternoon with your kids and eat popcorn then it is worth the money.

Toy Story I & II are always great choices to watch. My 3 year old daughter watches them in circles and I don't get sick of them. However watching it in 3D wasn't worth the money. The 3D wasn't that obvious. I thought there would be more "coming at you". It took a minute for my 3 year old to get use to the glasses and then she didn't seem aware of the effects. Still wonderful movies though. We'll watch them again at home probably...today!

My son's now 20, so I hadn't seen these movies in forever! I'd forgotten how funny, sweet, and downright GREAT they are! The movies weren't originally made for 3D so there aren't a lot of scenes that "pop", but the picture does have an added dimension that improved the visual quality. Don't go expecting to see something new - go to share old memories and create new ones, and just to have a really great time at the movies!

When I saw ‘Toy Story’ in 1995 with my then-five-year-old daughter, I was knocked out by the visuals. Four years later, my daughter and I saw ‘Toy Story 2,’ where I discovered that rarity: a sequel that surpasses the original, like ‘The Godfather, Part II’ and ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’ My daughter is away at college now, so I went to ‘Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D’ by myself—twice. The 3D treatment is what I would expect from Pixar: a subtle enhancement of perspective and depth of field, not an in-your-face barrage of projectiles. Both films have withstood the test of time, and the first ‘Toy Story’ remains as radical in its artistic and cultural impact as ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ (1937) and ‘The Wizard of Oz’ (1939).
