This movie has heart, real heart. Everyone should know that there are people like that family who actually touch other lives in a real way. Having taught for 33 years I especially like the Kathy Bates character. Sandra Bullock was outstanding as usual. "Big Mike" was played with with tenderness except, perhaps, when he was playing smash-mouth on the field. "Big Mike's" little brother was super duper! You just had to love him. Don't miss this movie and go out and touch a life.

"The Blind Side," starring Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw was a story that most people could relate to. The story of a young man, down on his luck and without family who finds true purpose and love in the home of a wealthy, caucasian philanthropist, this movie is definitely a story of courage, hope, and inspiration. I have not seen a movie in a long time that moved me the way this one did. Being a "sucker" for a good drama or inspiring story, I was instantly drawn to the movie upon seeing the previews. I was not disappointed at all with my selection. I fully intend to buy this movie when it comes out on DVD and will be recommending it to all of my movie-going friends. It is a fantastic, inspiring story the whole family can relate to.

Would love to know if he ever did set up some sort of foundation. After watching this movie I went and donated money to hungertron.com - a great social awareness movie. Should inspire all of us to wake and realize we don' t really have it so bad. Love the movie

Very entertaining! - and also true to the book. Laughs, ironies, tears and inspiration - it's got it all. It's a true story - so as in real life, no one character is always right, nor knows how things will turn out. The contrasts are pretty shocking. But what a testimony to the simple idea of listiening to your heart, and trying to do what is right. I loved this movie!

Thought the characters were cast well - always love it when roles are convincingly played. Perfect amount of humor. What a great story. Something to remember - no matter how little or how much we pour in to someone else's life, it makes a difference, and you may or may not get to see the outcome - just feel good that you gave.

My husband and I saw this film, and both loved it. It is a truly inspiring story, and they've done a wonderful job brining it to the bigscreen. Sandra Bullock is excellent. I have been a Sandra Bullock fan, and I am glad to see her playing a role that is more age appropriate. The story of Michael Oher and the Tuoy family will absolutely touch your heart. It is both entertaining and touching, and you will be glad you saw it!

My family really enjoyed this movie. The boys loved the football action and they were all able to understand the wonderful message given in the story. Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw were excellent...a great chemistry. The boy that played Michael was fantastic too..

What is amazing about this movie is the strength of human spirit and the love across racial lines. Michael's story is amazing, what a triumph for him! Anyone who can come from that kind of environment and achieve what he has....INSPIRING. His adoptive family-priceless.
