I actually went with my 75+parents and they loved.....as well as my 20 something niece. A thoroughly enjoyable story and acting experience that succeeds primarily because the characters are so likeable.

My husband & I highly recommend this movie. You truly got a chance to see faith, hope, love and compassion in action in this movie. The movie reminds us to be thankful for the many blessings we have in our lives daily both big and small. And, the lessons learned in this home carried onto the field and into this young mans life, oh what a gift. You'll laugh and cry and be glad to have been a part of the audiance.

I was struck not only by the gentleness of this big man but of the combination of toughness and compassion by Sandra Bullocks character. The scene where she goes to visit his mother to tell her that she will become his legal guardian was very moving. She moved to sit beside her and hold her hand in understanding and sympathy. Michael made me weep. The horrors that he saw and went through and the destitute existence he had. This story was about taking a chance on someone who needed it. It was about how much you GET when you GIVE. I would recommend this move to anyone.

I really enjoyed this movie; it had all the elements to make it work. A touching story, good actors, a great sports theme, funny, and a real Southern Flare. Being from one of the three colleges that "Big Mike" was choosing made it especially entertaining. GWTWFAN

This was a great heart felt funny film. It could be classified as a chick flick, but a must see all the same. I went to it because I like movies with a football theme, kind of dissappointed on that score, but I was glad I went to see it. I would definitely rent it to see again when it comes out on dvd. The capacity of the human heart to give is remarkable.

I saw Michael Oher's story on ESPN before I knew there was a movie in the works. I thought it was touching and loved Lee Ann already. Sandra Bullock nailed her character. I was also impressed with Tim McGraw. The younger son cracked me up throughout the entire movie. He was adorable. Great show. Well worth admission. GO SEE IT!!!!!

This is a fantastic feel good movie! We thoroughly enjoyed it. One of Sandra Bullock's best performances, and Tim McGraw was surprisingly good in his role. Our whole family enjoyed it immensely, restores your faith in the human race. Excellent!

Loved this movie. Despite the fact that it ran for more than 2 hours, the time flew - and I still didn't want it to end. WONDERFUL performances by Bullock, McGraw, the fellow who played Big Mike and the kids. I would definitely see this one again - several times.

I love movies that keep you wanting more and more, I was hoping the movie didn't end. I also love movies that make you feel good (sometimes in the form of crying) and this movie did that just as THE ROOKIE did when people never give up in their dream and the fact they still have great people in this world who don't care about race or what others think if it is the right thing to do.

My 8th grade son and I saw this movie ... and we loved it. My son is not an emotional guy, but he related to each of the characters and how impossible it was for main character to achieve what he did. Sandra Bullock did such a good job, that you didn't "know" it was her on the screen.

Sandra Bullock's Best! Most conviencing perforamce, Tim McGraw was GREAT! "BIG MIKE" was super in his performance! The story will make you happy, sad, cry and will make you believe that there is good in the world. The actors who played Collin & SJ were excellent! Kathy Bates was great as a "Demoncrat" This story should be played in all schools. You can succeed when there is love. Thanks to John Lee Hancock for delivering this story to all. GREAT JOB TO ALL.

I cried several times; my date cried several times. Sandra's got another heartfelt hit on her hands.
Perfect family film. Loved it. Makes you laugh, root for the underdog, high-5 the wins... just TERRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --- unlike Christmas Carol which I felt was too dark -- this film, "The Blind Side," is just what I hoped would be available at the theaters... our country needs these kinds of films right now.. thank you.

Poignant movie about one of the most tragic issues in our country. Abandonment, neglect, and foster care of children. Very appropriate release for Thanksgiving. The relationship between Michael and the family was extremely moving. Sandra Bullock deserves an Oscar nomination for sure!!!

More than a football movie--I come from a big football family, the only girl of 5! I liked the movie a lot because the football references were more limited than in the book but the point was made. The cast was well done. Look out for 'SJ', he was a fun character. The length was good but I wanted more--about his college career. I liked the credits which showed the real Michael and his family so don't be too anxious to beat the crowd out the door.
