More than a football movie--I come from a big football family, the only girl of 5! I liked the movie a lot because the football references were more limited than in the book but the point was made. The cast was well done. Look out for 'SJ', he was a fun character. The length was good but I wanted more--about his college career. I liked the credits which showed the real Michael and his family so don't be too anxious to beat the crowd out the door.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
